Sarah's P.O.V.
We sit behind his computer. I turn it on, no password. Kelsey is examining the room. I can tell she loves the beautiful modesty of it. I do too. I take a sip of the strawberry hill and hand her the bottle.
"So what's the plan?" She asks.
"Well we need to pick a place that we can keep up with the payments." I say. I log onto a house hunting site.
"Where you going to get a second job?" She asks.
"Probably a restaurant." I say.
"I'll get a job too. I wanna help. I don't want you to be all alone with the work." She says.
"Okay. Sounds great." She says.
"So lets look for something in the range of 1,500 and 2,000." I say. I type it into the search bar and I also type In two bedroom. So many results come up.
"Look at that one. It's only three blocks from where we live now." I click on it. It's cute and kinda spacey.
"I like it." I say. I look at the price. $1,800.
"That's right at the top of the budget." I say.
"But it's has everything we want and it's so close." She says.
"I guess." I say.
"Well that was fast." She says.
"We got lucky. So now job. We need to find jobs." I say. I keep the tab open so we can go back and look at it. I search jobs in the Chicago area. A lot come up and we go through many but see they are too far from the apartment.
"What if Jason gave you a job working the front desk at the tattoo shop?" She asks.
"I guess I could but I don't know. What are you gonna do?" I say.
"I'll just get extra shifts at work now." She says. I would too but we are only open during the week.
"Okay. I'll talk to Jason." I say.
"So we need to but get the apartment soon before it's gone. I'll pay half." She says.
"Okay I got the other." I say. We email the relator of the apartment and schedule to go in on Monday. Kelsey and I both already have the money so we'll buy then. We shut down the computer and head back downstairs.
"There you are. I was getting worried." Brandon chuckles as he pulls his arm around her waist. I go to the kitchen to put the strawberry hill away. Alcohol scares me put I love the sweet taste.
"Tsk. Tsk. Tsk." Jason says behind me. I turn around. I can feel my face in fire.
"Can't I have a drink with my best friend?" I ask.
"Of course but without me definitely not." He says.
"How do you know you'll control yourself? You'll just go to far and not stop." My eyes go wide and I slap my hand over my mouth. Jason clenches his jaw.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean it like that." I say.
"It's okay. I understand. I hurt you and you have right to say what you want." He says. He turns away from the kitchen. I grab his hand.
"I obviously hurt you." I say.
"Baby it's okay." He says kissing my forehead. I sigh.
"Common there waiting in the living room." He says. I follow him to the living room.
"Well I'm gonna take Kelsey home." Brandon says.
"Okay. See you tomorrow." Jason says. I give Kelsey a hug. They leave and we take a seat on the couch.
"Can I talk to you about something. Kinda important." I say.
"Of course." He says.
"Kelsey and I want to upgrade on our living. I was wondering if I could get a job working for you on the weekend. Your open sometimes and it would help me a lot." I say.
"Yeah of course. Where you moving?" He asks.
"To a place only a few blocks away but it's much bigger. We are going to look at it on Monday. If we like it we are going to buy it." I say.
"Let me go with." He says.
"No. You've missed to much work. You have to go." I say. He can't just not miss work. His work is different.
"Fine. Just be careful and make sure it's legit." He says pulling me close.
"Okay." I say. We lay there together. I start getting a craving for chocolate. I sit up.
"You okay?" He asks.
"Yeah I just want chocolate." I laugh. I climb off the couch and walk to the kitchen. I find one of the chocolate bars I brought. 65% dark chocolate my favorite.
I eat half of it before I realize Jason has been watching the whole time. He laughs.
"Hey don't judge." I say pouting.
"I'm not. It's cute." He says.
"This is cute. Craving, cramps, and you don't wanna know the rest." I say. He just laughs. I sigh and roll my eyes.
"I'm gonna head upstairs." He say turning on his heels. He walks out. I finish the chocolate bar and still feel like I need something.
I just ignore it not wanting to feel bloated. I head upstairs. Jason in the bathroom with the door closed. I go into the closet and get some pjs. I quickly changed before walking out.
Jason comes out of the bathroom. It's hair is wet and a towel hangs low on his waist. If only he looked like that every day. I bite my lip. I can't help it with the hormones rushing through my body.
"Don't do that." He says.
"Kinda hard not to when you look like that." I say. He flashes me a sexy smile. His hand grabs the towel.
"Don't do it." I say.
"To late." He laughs he pulls the towel off. I give him a straight face. I walk towards the bathroom. He stops me and grabs my hand.
"Oh come on. Am I that bad?" He says.
"No. It's uncomfortable." I say feeling the heat rise in my cheeks.
"Sorry." He says. I pull him closer. I can feel his hard press against me. I kiss him. I pull away and run into the bathroom. I finish getting ready for bed.
Jason is laying in bed. I climb in next to him. I can feel the warmth of his bare chest. It's comforting so I cuddle next to him.
"I love you babe." I say.
"I love you too." He says wrapping his arms around me. That's the last thing I remember before falling asleep.
