Chapter 20

Sarah's P.O.V.
It's 1:47am and Jason isn't home I've sent him so many texts. I start to worry. I hear someone knock on my bedroom door. It opens revealing Jason.
He looks like crap. I get up and walk over to him. I wrap my arms around him and kiss him. But I stop immediately.
"Jason where the hell have you been. You smell have taste like alcohol" I half scream.
"I was out with Brandon" he says slurring his words.
"And you thinks is okay to come in here at 2 in the morning intoxicated." I say with a little anger. I don't feel comfortable around a drunk man even if they love me like Jason does.
"I'm sorry baby." He says placing a hand on my arm. I shake it off.
"Don't touch me." I say walking away.
"Get back here." He growls grabbing my wrist. Fear rushes into me I try to wiggle from his grasp. His grip only gets tighter.
"Ah. Jason your hurting me." I say my voice weak. He gets an evil grin. Tears rush into my eyes.
"Jason leave me alone." I cry out. He pulls me close to him. His lips attack mine. It's nothing like we ever had. This is love or passion.
I push him off me. I grab my phone and run into the bathroom. I crying. I don't know what to do. I call Jeff. It's all I can think of he's my ticket out of her. Second ring he answers.
"Jeff. Help me." I cry.
"Sarah is everything alright?" He asks.
"Sarah open the door." Jason says pounding on it.
"No. I just need you to get to my place fast. Jason is drunk as he's acting like a monster." I say.
"I'll be there right away." He says.
"Please hurry I'm scarred." I say.
"Don't worry I'm only a few blocks away. Want me stay on the line?" Jeff asks.
"No it's okay." I say.
"Okay I'll be there soon." He says. I hang up.
"Jason leave me alone." I say opening the door. He pushes me against the wall trapping me. The smell of his breathe makes me tremble.
"Baby I'm not finished with you." He says Into my ear.
"What's your problem?" I say.
"My problem." He laughs. "I have an ex that's a crazy bitch that has hurt my love. I drank which has turned me into the beast I cannot stop until i get what I want."
"What's that?" I ask.
"Sex and revenge." Jason says. The door opens. Jason steps away from me. It's Jeff I run over to him.
"Go to my car I'll be there in a minute." He says. So I go to get away from the beast.

Jason's P.O.V.
Reality sets in when I see Jeff.
"Oh fuck." I say running my hand through my hair. I fall to the floor. Tears rush into my eyes.
"You hurt her." He says. I look up to him tears rush out my eyes.
"Why did I drink and think that I was strong enough to hold back." I say.
"That's the most you've drank in a long time I don't think you remember what you were like. And it's my fault. I should have never dropped you off here." He says ashamed of himself.
"I fucked up. It's my fault. She's never gonna love me again." I say crying even harder. Jeff walks over to me.
"Son your heart knows what to do. Give her space." He says.
"But I don't want to I need to talk to her. I can't let this just go see needs to know the truth. I have the tell her." I say. My cheeks are wet from the tears.
"Your drunk. Tomorrow you can but right now you need to drink a lot of water and sleep. I'm taking you home along with her. I'm staying the night too so she still feels safe." He says.
"Okay. God I just fucking hate myself." I say.
"Come on let's go." He says. We walk downstairs and outside. Sarah sits in the front seat crying. I cry too at the sight of her. I can't believe I did this.
"Sit in the back and don't say a word." Jeff says. I get in. Sarah stops. But I don't. I have a quite sob. She turns at looks at me. She had hope in her eyes but anger in her body.
I'm so sorry I mouth. My tears rush down our faces. She turns around so she won't let me see her cry. Words can't describe the pain I feel.
We get to my place. Jeff makes me go to my room while Sarah sleeps In one of the bedrooms down the hall. The last I remember of her was mouthing, your a monster but I can't help but love you.
