"FREEEEEEEEDOOM!"

The stampede of fifth year students as they left the Great Hall was like nothing ever seen before-led by Sirius's gleeful screech. Their final exam, History of Magic, had ended moments before, and not one teacher dared tell any of the students to be quiet or calm down.

Halley, Sephy, Samantha, James, Sirius, Remus and Peter had led a mad dash to the moving stairs, and were now charging up them, back to the common room, as the seven had previously agreed on a post-exam celebratory trip to Hogsmeade in order to get completely pasted on Butterbeer.

"FREEEEEEEEDOOM!" Sirius screeched again as the entered the Gryffindor common room. "No more exams!"

He leapt onto the biggest sofa and started doing a war dance.

"Ne-ne-nene-Ne-ne-ne-ne, Ne-ne-nene-Ne!" he sang, before repeating it over and over again. Sephy laughed and leapt up to join him after the third round, busting out some funky moves on the sofa as Sirius took off his tie and started swinging it around his head. James then got up onto one of the other armchairs and took his tie off also, swinging it round his head before deciding it didn't have enough momentum and changing for his jumper.

Halley was next to join in, as Sirius and Sephy also pulled her up onto the sofa, all now singing Sirius's silly chant. Samantha and Remus, both laughing their heads off, sat down by the fire and started making fireworks shoot out of their wands, while Peter sort of awkwardly hopped around the floor, but he was still beaming widely.

A round of applause from the balcony finally silenced the group. It was Nashville and Jones.

"You lot all done, Potter?" Jones called down, grinning.

"You bet we are!" James replied enthusiastically, as the seven collapsed in a heap, and as they did, Jones and Nashville ran down the stairs to talk properly.

"About bloody time" Nashville sighed, scruffing up James's hair like he was a little boy before grabbing him in a headlock, ignoring his protests. "I've had to train a team without my Seeker. And my star Beater" he added, grinning at Sephy, whose insides did a flip flop before she collected herself enough to deny it.

"Shove off, Nash" she scoffed. "You're Captain for a reason, man."

"Flattery will get you nowhere" Nash replied seriously, letting go of James and leaning on the back of the sofa. "I'm still expecting both of you out fit and ready to train like hell tonight. And I fully intend to only let you go inside if you can't walk there yourself."

James and Sephy groaned.

"We were gonna go to Hogsmeade this afternoon" the Seeker grumbled. "Celebratory Butterbeer."

"Could we not train tomorrow?" Sephy asked pleadingly, leaning over the back of the sofa and fixing the Quidditch Captain with her ultimate puppy-eyes stare. He regarded her for a minute, as if trying to resist.

"Fine" he sighed heavily, and Sephy beamed at him. "I'll talk to Mikayla and McGonagall. Ravenclaw have the pitch tomorrow. I'll see if they'll swap."

"Thank you, Nash!" Sephy smiled, trying to look as genuinely grateful as she could.

"The things I do for you" Nashville said, rolling his eyes and prodding Sephy on the end of her nose. "Enjoy your celebrations, you lot. Try and get home in one piece."

Everyone laughed, and Sephy relaxed back onto the sofa, only for Sirius to make a whip-cracking noise as soon as Nashville and Jones had walked out of earshot.

"You have him under your thumb, Seph" Samantha commented, when Sephy didn't seem to get Sirius's meaning.

"Oh, stop!" Sephy whined, hiding her head with a cushion as everyone laughed again. Halley noticed Lily coming though the portrait hole with Marlene, and scrambled up to give her a hug.
