Shadowpaw stood as still as a stone. He knew that Fadeclan was very fierce and he didn't want them to hurt him.

Scarface shot him a glare, his eyes glowed a mucky green and he swerved his head back around. "What are they going to do with me, Darkpaw?" He asked hoping she would stop them from whatever they had planned.

"Probably maim you!" She meowed. Shadowpaw could sense her slight bit of fear she was hiding.

Shadowpaw took a deep breath, he tasted the air and it tasted like nothing he was familiar of. "We have to hide him!" Darkpaw whispered to Yelloweye. "Why?" Yelloweye meowed.

"Because we need Shadowpaw, remember? We need more clan members!" She hissed to the dumb fat cat. "Now, remember what I told you?" Her eyes staring at his. "Don't be a mouse brain, Yelloweye! Be a good or else you'll dye!" He excitedly mewed.

"Very good!" She smiled as she mimicked his annoying voice. Shadowpaw admired Darkpaw in a way, he just didn't know which way.

Darkpaw padded over to Shadowpaw smirking. "Come with if you don't won't to dye!" Shadowpaw quickly followed Darkpaw into the forest. "Is Yelloweye coming?" He asked.

"No" she simply replied. She came to a stop and plopped herself on the forest floor. "Your funny, you know that?" She meowed nudging him. "Umm-" she laughed and interrupted him. "No one has made me laugh so much before!" Shadowpaw looked baffled.

"Perhaps it because I have a interest in you" Darkpaw meowed. Shadowpaw tilted his head. "In what way could that be?" He mewed in confusion. "The only way" she replied.

Shadowpaw wasn't only confused, but he had never met a Fadeclan cat that's so kind. Shadowpaw didn't want to feel any connection to her, but she made it impossible.

"Now come on, I want to see how good of a hunter you are!" She purred, her eyes reaching his admiring stare. Shadowpaw and Darkpaw raced through the woods, over rocks, fallen trees and through bushes.

Darkpaw came to a sudden stop, her ears twitching in different directions. Shadowpaw stopped as well, he picked up a familiar scent.

Shadowpaw started to recognize the smell and soon realized his fellow clan mates were padding along towards him and Darkpaw.

Shadowpaw backed up slowly into a shrub trying to get Darkpaw's attention. The paw steps soon turned into hissing and prickly claws sticking out. "What are you doing in Thunderclan's territory!" One of the hissed. It was Whitestorm and Smallpaw.

Shadowpaw and Smallpaw were best friends since they were kits. "I-" Darkpaw stuttered a bit. "I was hunting with my friend..." She meowed as she lowered her head.

"In our territory!" Whitestorm spat. "I didn't know-" Whitestorm's furious eyes quieted her quickly.

"Yes" she sighed. "Why in the name of Starclan!" Whitestorm hissed, now furious then ever. "I was not hunting, I was trying to save Shadowpaw" she admitted.

"Shadowpaw? You're with Shadowpaw?" Smallpaw blurted out. Whitestorm gave him a stern look to quite him.

"Yes, I was with Shadowpaw!" Darkpaw stood up and smiled. "Shut it mouse brain!" Whitestorm snapped. Darkpaw lowered her head again. Shadowpaw suddenly jumped from the bush and hissed at Whitestorm.

"Leave her be, Whitestorm!" His growl was low and his eyes soon turned dark. "Why should I listen to you, your a pathetic FadeClan cat!" He hissed.

Shadowpaw winced at what Whitestorm said, it made him feel unwelcome to the clan who raised him. "FadeClan cats have courage and a title everyone knows them by, fierce!"

Shadowpaw didn't want to feel welcome to his old clan anymore, he needed to protect his real clan.

"The only thing MountainClan is known for is being pathetic and hiding from fights. They aren't no real warriors, they are hiders!" Shadowpaw snapped.

Whitestorm's eyes told Shadowpaw he was confused. "I, ummmm..." Whitestorm had nothing to say, he knew that it was sort of true.

Spottedstar and Lionclaw appeared next to Smallpaw and Whitestorm. "What in the name of StarClan is going on here?" Spottedstar shouted. She saw Darkpaw, noticing she looked very afraid of the leader. "Who is this?" Spottedstar spat.

"Darkpaw, my friend. And if you do anything to her-" Lionclaw cut Shadowpaw off. "How dare you!" He hissed at his apprentice.

"How dare you bring a FadeClan cat into our territory!" It was those words that set Shadowpaw on. He has been hearing them to much.

"This is not our territory, it's you and your pathetic hiding cats! I'm not part of your mouse brained clan! I rather be killed by a fox then spend time with that pathetic thing you call a clan! Don't think I'm part of it!" He hissed, very angry now.

Shadowpaw saw bunches of eyes glowing around them. It was the clan, and they heard every single word Shadowpaw said.

"Fine! We don't need some fox dung cat like you!" Lionclaw snapped. Scarface popped up from some needle bushes, pulling out the needles in his ruffled up coat.

He put his paw on Shadowpaw's neck. "Well, if you really don't need him, I can just kill him right her right now, correct?"

Scarface was the only thing Shadowpaw was scared of, well that and losing someone he cares for. Shadowpaw could tell Spottedstar was nervous, but not Whitestorm.

"Yes" Whitestorm blurted out. And once that was said, all Shadowpaw felt was a swipe of sharp prickly claws across his throat and cold, thick blood running through his fur. He lost balance and fell, all he could see was the cats he knew fading away.

All he could hear was the worried shouts of his loved ones, all he could do was lay there and die.
