I'm Adele Adkins, 17 years old and currently studying. My classmates would describe me as a plain, boring and nerdy girl in class. But who cares? I'd rather be an old-fashioned girl rather than to be a moist flirty chick.

My mum, Penny, raised me by herself since my father wasn't able to do his obligations to us as a husband and a father. That's not a big deal to me anymore, I wish he would rot in hell.

"Honey, are your bags are packed?" Mum said from downstairs.

"Yes mummy, I'm about to go down." I responsed as I zipped my last luggage.

Today, we're going to move from Tottenham to England. And honestly, that idea's so lame. I told mum that I'm fine with my old school here, there's no need for us to leave. But she insisted that England has a better future for me. She signed me up in a prestigious school of music, and we're about to head on that bloody school as soon as we get in England.

"'Round my hometown, memories are fresh... 'Round my hometown, oh the people I've met..."

I timidly sang.

I love this place. I love Tottenham. I like the foggy, smokey air here. I like how people flaunt their beautiful faces and bodies without thinking of what other's may say.

"Mum I'm just going to visit Lau quick." I said as I tied my black converse.

"Okay baby, be here at 3." Mum pecked my forehead.

"Great... Bye mum love you!" I sighed watching my watch, 1:30.

"I love you more my bunny." Mum waved goodbye as I opened the door.

I walked my way to my best friend's house. Counting the cracks on the pavements, tutting my heel and strutting my feet. I already miss this place.

"Is there anything I can do for you dear? Is there anyone I could call?" A brunette woman asked. I didn't notice I was already crying.

"No and thank you, please Madam. I ain't lost, just wandering." I quickly wiped away my tears and flashed a fake smile.

"Okay, be safe on the road." She smiled and patted my shoulder.

As soon as she left, I took another deep breath and was immersed on my thoughts again.

"Babe?" I heard Laura's voice, again without me knowing, I was already on her doorstep.

"Oh hi, I was about to visit you donut." I swept my hair and tucked it behind my ears.

"You look so fucking happy, come inside." Lau grabbed my hand.

"What's the matter babe?" Laura handed me some baked cookies.

"I don't wanna go..." I shifted my gaze to the floor, tapping my feet.

"Aw, if I could just go with you Del, I would freaking love to... It'll be for your own good babe." Laura faintly smiled, rubbing my back back and forth.

"That's shit. I'm better here in Tottenham. New school, new people, full of bullshits..." I sighed.

"Shh, you haven't even got the chance to visit your new school Del lol." Laura laughed.

"There's no need Lau, that's already given." I rolled my eyes and finished my cookies.

"I'm going to miss you bitch, don't forget me aye?" Laura grabbed me hands and squeezed it a little tighter.

"Of course Lau, how could I ever forget my best friend who accidentally and stupidly grabbed her crush's dick?" I released my contagious laugh causing Laura to blush extremely.

"Hey! That's not funny Del. And Daniel's not my crush, he's my boyfriend now" Laura smirked and laughed with me after.

"Oh it's intentional right? Thank God, Daniel loved the way you held his boy." I wiped away my tears and normalized my breathing.

"Delly, don't do the things I won't do okay?" Laura playfully smiled at me.

"Oh shut it Lau. There's no way." I confidently said.

"Ahuh, we'll see little bitch." Laura stupidly smirked at me.
