"Hey are you okay, you look like you are freezing?", says a worried voice. I couldn't believe what I was hearing! I mean Derick asked if I was okay, but I didn't want to seem helpless to anyone else( I already was at home). I calmly replied," No, actually I'm fine just not used to the cold." He stared at my with longing and sorrow as if he knew I had lied to him. I couldn't think straight anymore; always trying to hide my feelings behind a smile. Everyone at this school thinks I'm just another shy girl that's friendly to everyone, but actually I'm screaming on the inside. I was suddenly pulled back to reality by his voice once again," well, if you're not going to tell the truth i would at least like to introduce myself. My name is Derick Price and you must be..." he stopped longing for the answer that he needed and said," your name is Dawn right." I was shocked I was actually surprised he knew my name I mean i have no one and i only talk when i have to. How could he possibly know my name? I tried not to cry but he saw the sadness in my eyes and suddenly i was jerked forward . It felt warm, but i noticed that he was actually holding me in his arms. He was comforting me, and to tell you the truth that only weakened me more. I wasn't used to kindness or even sorrow towards myself. He held my head up and as he did this a single tear went down my cheek. He started to speak with a comforting tone," If you ever need anything I want you to know that I'll always be here." I was about to speak ,but we were at school. The only thing that I could think is that one of the many holes in my heart was actually starting to heal. For once I wasn't alone in the world I actually had someone other than myself to hold up the wall of stone above me.
