Dawn's P.O.V
All I remember is darkness enveloping me and suddenly I was home. I didn't know what had happened or even if anything did happen. As soon as i tried to get up I felt a stinging in my chest and a pounding in my head. I screamed in agony it felt as if someone was ripping a chainsaw in and out my lungs. Soon I was comforted by Tantos's soothing voice. She was trying to keep calm but I could see the pain and fear in her eyes.Suddenly, she said," I have to make sure." She grabbed my arm and broke it in half. I wrenched in pain and screamed as the pain enveloped me. all I could think is Why, what the F****happened. Slowly I felt the pain rush away and the pounding in my head and for some reason in my chest stop. Finally I get up and I see Tantos on the floor bawling her eyes out. I looked her in the eyes and said," Tantos van helsing tell me what happened. I will rip every strand of Your hair that you love so much out if you don't."
Tantos P.O.V
My best friend that I had known ever since I was five is now my mortal enemy. I stop for a second, take a deep breath and wipe the tears away. I finally look over to dawn and her oceanic eyes were not innocent anymore they were pure evil.I shut my eyes and shake my head furiously and find myself saying aloud," I can't have my friend as my mortal enemy!!!" I look over to Dawn and somehow she is able to cry. I tell her everything that happened last night from the point of me feeling a terrible aura to the point I almost killed Derrick. Surprisingly she took it better than I thought she would. The only thing that confused us both is that she was able to bear feelings.
I whip out my phone and instantly call my twin brother, Denis. He rushes right over like no tomorrow. I quickly explain to him what has happened while dawn is sitting on the roof avoiding being killed. She finally is able to come down. I didn't know what to expect considering Denis is know for killing a vampire on sight.
Before I could say anything their eyes locked and it's like I'm not even there.SHIT the only way my brother would not notice I was there is if he was to imprint. Suddenly dawn falls to the ground with no warning. I freak and shove my own brother out of the way so I can help her. Once he is at her side he looks me right in the eye and growls. I had never seen him this way, but when he finally came out of it he explained that he didn'teven know what had come over him. My canines were reaching their limit, I had never had my own pack mate nor my brother growl at me.
I stand up with my claws extending and my breaths forming into growls. He crawls back saying let's take this outside before we destroy this entire house. Kick him square in the nuts and say," You better learn your place, I am your alfa and i will not be growled upon. I don't care if you are twin brother. Suddenly we hear a shatter . We both look over to dawn as she was next to vase she was trying to use for support as she stood. I stay back and observe my brother's reaction. He starts to reach for her and as they touch they jump back as if they had been shocked.
I speak up to say," IF y'all aren't going to complete the mating process i'll do it my self!" They both bowl over laughing their asses off."What? I'm not joking here" I grab Dawn's arm and start to pull her to the bedroom. Yet again, by a minute, big brother growls at me again. I give him a glare that made him tuck tail and run behind a wall. I let go of her with arms up in defense," I was just joking. It wouldn't work. I don't even have a dick." Dawn looks over to me and replies scarcely," Is that the only reason?" I say in return," No, NO it's not."
