Just as the words words left my mouth the magnetic pull inside me turned into a burning fire of need to find out whatever it was. Was it only me who could feel this or could my friends feel it to? If I ask and they don't they'll look at me like I'm crazy.......but they do that all the time anyway. Oh well.
"Hey guys do u......" wait how would i describe it " are you guys feeling like some magnetic pull towards the school or anything cause I know I do and it's bugging me and I wanna go find out what it is" I kind of rushed that out but I just talk like that all the time so they understood. I could because of the looks they were giving me that say what-are-you-crazy.
"Hey maybe that's the pull you feel from your mate" Kane teased
"Really Kane?" I stated in a bored tone
"No for fake" Kane said in sarcastically-duh voice then burst out into another fit of laughter for the second time in like ten minutes.
"Kane do know how anoying you are?" I state in an exasperated tone.
"Yes I do, but u love me." He stated in proud voice standing tall and chest puff out. "Wait you do love me, don't you Rain?"
"Yes Kane I love you"
"I was only joking though you know that right 'bout the whole mate thing cause I don't want you to find your mate not now or ever.........." he stated stubbornly then his eyes widened a faction of an inch as he calmed his face and said " and that's because you would turn like every other girl and forget that they have friends and then me and Alex would be hurt while the only thing running through your mind is mate mate mate mate mate and mate this, mate that, What's he doing?, Where is he? and blah blah blah you get the piont right?" he rushed out so fast I'm pretty sure that has been the fastest thing he has ever said maybe faster than me.....nah but that was pretty fast.
"Yea I get it" I said but not only to what he said but also from what he didnt have to. I know about Kane's past we tell each other everything. While me and Alexis are best friends me and Kane are the bestest of best friends.......if that makes sence.
And with that the bell rang so we started off towards our locker and the magnetizing got stronger and stronger with every step, but with after me and Kane's conversation my mind drifted off to remembering Kane's past and momentarily forget about the pulling. I didn't have to watch where I was going as I was locked arm with Kane. So I blindly walked forward and went back into time.
