Marinette's POV
I am now currently celebrating my 10th birthday. Streamers, balloons and any birthday decorations are al hanging on the court yard.
Bridgette didn't want to celebrate my birthday, she said that my party's are lame and boring. And of course, that offended me. But it didn't stop me from doing another party.
I learned to draw and make dresses but, it isn't that nice though. But that didn't stop me from doing it,
"Princess Marinette! Prince Adrien of France is here to celebrate your birthday with his company, along with Princess Alya of Australia and Prince Nino of Singapore."
One of our Royal Maid shouted from the other side of my room. "Let them in please!" I replied back. Maman and Papa got letters that the other Kingdoms won't be able to go to my party since they have many stuff to do, they said.
And I completely understand, being the supreme rulers of each country, of course you would have a lot of stuff to do. Although, France, Australia and Singapore could go to my party!
Seems like their children are bored out of their minds. Adrien, Nino and Alya went inside my room. Gifts on top of their hands, "Hello guys!" I waved at them. They waved back.
They surrounded me and smiles were on their faces. "Uhh?" I was left clueless, "Marinette, my gift for you!" Nino started and handed me a case that's wrapped with birthday wrapping.
"Oh wow! Thanks Nino,"
"Don't forget me girl! I have a gift for you too, and I bet my gift will rock Nino's gift off!"
Me and Alya both laughed, she gave me a small box, wrapped with birthday wrapping too.
"Don't forget me Mari! I have a gift for you too. And I will assure you, both Nino and Alya's gift will knock their socks off on my amazing gift I have for you.."
Adrien gave me a meduim sized box, and of course. Wrapped. I all smiled at them "Thanks Guys.. You guys are really the best!" I placed their gifts for me on a table. I hugged them all together.
"You're always Welcome Mari.. We love you!"
They all said in unison. We all laughed and played games to use the time, my party doesn't start until 4:30 PM. It's now currently 2:55 PM.
We played Hide-n-seek in my big room, played bored games, drew on some papers, acted out animals, we pretended to act like Kings and Queens too of each and every country.
"Princess Marinette! Prince Nathaniel of Spain has arrived and would also want his company with you!"
One of my Royal Maid shouted, "Let him in please!" I shouted back. The next thing I knew, the door went opened and revealed a red headed boy with bangs covering his left face. "H-Hello Marinette! It is nice to be with your comapany.." he does a courtesy and grabs one of my hands and kissed it.
"You are most gladly welcomed here in the Kingdom of China Prince Nathaniel, besides, you are my friend!"
He just smiles and noticed Alya, Nino and Adrien. "Oh hello there! I didn't seem to notice you once I have entered Marinette's room. Pardon me, please.." he bows and takes Alya's hand to kiss too.
Alya didn't reject, she let him, when I looked at Nino. His face was stern and.. Angery? And maybe, I heared a growl fom him too. Jealous has got in him.
Nathaniel moves to Nino and shakes his hand, Nino glares at Nathaniel but doesn't seem to notice. Nathaniel moves to Adrien and they both shook hands.
"Now! Let's continue our little game? Shall we? Would you want to join Nathaniel?"
I turned towards the red heades boy, "Oh uh, no thanks Marinette. I'm not really the type of Prince who plays games. I would usually just.. Draw," he said, still smiling and he keeps on staring at me.
"Oh okay! If you want some papers to draw, they're over on my study table. Make yourself at home!"
I smiled at him and turned around to face my Best Friends. We started to play and let the time pass,

We only have an hour left and we are greatly tired. Nathaniel didn't move a single muscle except his arms and fingers when he reached my study table. He drew a lot of things.
"Phew, that was tiring.. What now? Party starts at 1 hour so.. What do we do now?"
Adrien said, lying down on my bed, and looking up into the ceiling. "Well, we can bake and use the spare time to eat? We haven't eaten in an hour.." I said, they all said yes except for Nathaniel.
I went over him and said, "Hey Nath! Want to come with us in the kitchen and bake? It'll be fun!" I said happily. "I told you before Marinette, I'm really not that type of person or Prince who does fun things.. I would rather draw or do something calm. I'm sorry to burst your bubble.."
Nathaniel says calmly and continues to sketch, to be honest, he's not really funny and energetic. He's more of an a calm and boring Prince.
I guess his parents were strict. I shrugged and led my friends to the kitchen to bake cookies. I was thought by Papa, besides, Maman did say he was a Cater and Baker.
"Hello Maya! We would like to bake cookies for our spare time please!"
I said to one of the head chef's in our castle, "Right away Princess Marinette.." she said. She was about to turn her heel and order the others to prepare for our baking but, I stopped her on her tracks. "Please Maya.. Just call me Marinette or Mari, Princess Marinette seems too formal and boring!"
I giggled and she joined me along. "Of course, anything for you Mari.." she smiles and now orders the servants to prepare everything for baking.

We finally finished baking cookies and they were all baked inside the oven. They were brought out, freshly baked and delicious too! I places them inside a jar and brought it upstairs to my room.
I have to prepare for my party, so I placed the cookies down on the other side of my room where there's a table too to draw or sketch. "Hey Nath, if you want cookies, they're right here.. Okay?" I smiled and trailed myself off to my walk-in closet.
Where it's full of dresses and gowns. Tiara's and Crowns. Necklace and bracelets, and doll shoes and high heels.
Time to get ready..
