Bonnie was 9 when she played 'Ginny Weasley' in the Harry Potter series. It was her brother who proposed the idea of playing this role. He said that Bonnie reminds him of Ginny and he was right. No one else than Bonnie can play Ginny Weasley.

Book Ginny was better(of course), but Bonnie did what she was said, the directors didn't focused on Ginny's character which obviously, made Harry and Ginny's love life look awkward and 'sudden'. So here I blame the directors.
