CHAPTER 17 SHOPPING AND MAGIC
*Ginny's POV* Today we are going to muggle London to buy new furniture for our home, with all the cases Harry has and all the practice I've to do, we don't get enough time to think about that house.
We are now done with the furniture for your room, hall, and kitchen. The library already had the racks so we don't need to worry about it, just a table and 2-3 chairs will work. We planned to arrange the other rooms later but we have to make a room for Teddy, he doesn't live with us but he is an important part of the family. We bought cupboard and table sets for the study, we have arranged the family room and Harry wants a family tree in a room so we now have to arrange 17 rooms!
"The owner said they will be shipping the furniture by tomorrow.", Harry said.
"I can't believe it, Harry. Our home!", I said happily.
"You have to, love.", he said and kissed me lightly.
"When will we start the family tree's painting?", I asked.
"Now? I mean we have a week off, we are done with the shopping and we have the whole day left.", Harry said.
"Let's go home!", I said.
We apparated back to our home.
"We need to install Floo system here!", I reminded Harry.
"I've talked about it, Floo will be installed in 2 days or so.", Harry replied.
"And water?", I asked.
"Done!", he replied.
"Electricity?", I asked.
"Done, love!", he replied.
"Paperwork?", I asked.
"Done!", he said.
"Payments?", I asked again.
"Settled.", he replied.
"That means everything is done.", I laughed, "I don't need to worry when I am with you!"
"You should not!", Harry said and grinned.
"Shall we start?", I asked.
"We have to select the room!", Harry said.
"Easy. The second largest room!", I said.
"All rooms are of the same size, leaving ours.", Harry said.
"Nearest to family room?", I suggested.
"Great!", Harry said and grinned.
We entered the room nearest to the family room. Harry did some magic and it appeared.
Harry--Me, a bit far there was Teddy's name.
"What is it?", I asked.
"It shows the name of those people who live here, we started this so we are on the top as Lord and Lady. Teddy isn't our son by blood but he is our godson so he will have another family tree, all for himself.", Harry replied.
"Wow. This is amazing!", I said.
"Red and golden.", Harry said proudly.
"Proud Gryffindors!", I said and chuckled.
"Yes, we are!", Harry said and pulled me into a hug.
We spent next hours fixing the garden and the backyard. Harry even arranged the rooms for house elfs, according to him we will have to hire 3 house elfs as Kreature will guard and maintain The black family house.
We installed Quidditch pitch in our backyard, Harry said it was my housewarming gift! Okay, I have to do something more special for him.
We apparated back to The black family house, ate our dinner and went to bed. We slept peacefully.
*Harry's POV* Ginny and I are going to arrange the furniture today in our new house. Currently, no one knows about our home leaving us.
"We won't tell them?", Ginny asked as Kreature made breakfast for us.
"No, we won't.", I said this for the hundredth time.
"Why?", she asked.
"Because we will first arrange the whole house and will throw a party just for them, to inform them.", I said.
"WHOLE HOUSE? We were just arranging few rooms right?", she asked.
"No, we will arrange the whole house.", I said.
"We just have a week and we haven't bought the furniture and we have to arrange them?", she said, speaking faster than usual.
"Breath, Gin. We are magical people remember?", I said.
"Oh, oh yeah, one week is enough!", she said happily and I laughed.
"More than enough! We will arrange few things today itself, shopping tomorrow and 2 days to arrange other rooms then we are left with two days in which we can ask Kreature to arrange for house elfs, meanwhile, we can buy books for the library and shift our personal stuff there!", I said.
"WOW!! YES. YESS!!", Ginny said and hugged me.
"Good!", I said and kissed her. We both laughed for few minutes and returned back to our dinner.
