I walk into the school and can only think one word...

Huge.

The place is so big!!! Students litter the halls, talking, opening lockers and some doing things that should not be done or even mentioned in school. I was sort of disgusted but James looks... excited!?!?

Sometimes I don't even know why we're best friends.

I force my breakfast down so it doesn't make a surprise appearance.

"This school is not how I thought it would be." I say looking up at James. There is disappointment and regret in voice.

"I KNOW!" There is excitement and happiness in his voice.

"Ugg." I grumble as I roll my eyes, very obviously I might add, at James, but he doesnt notice.

"I'll catch up with you later?" He asks. "I hope so." I say. Opps. That sounded desperate.

James jogs down the hall and meets up with some guys in his band and football players. I on the other hand, head to my locker.

I frantically search up and down the hallways looking for locker 3301. I stare down at my paper that holds my locker number and combination, and suddenly I hit something, hard.

My body flings backward and I crash land on the floor. 'How graceful Mads.' I think to myself as I gather my books and papers.

I begin to stand up but as I lift my head, I see I figure leaning over me. "Are you O.K.?" the figure asks, reaching out a hand and pulling me up to met it's eyes.

Turns out the it is a he. And he's a hot he! I can barley speak. "Uh. I... You. Fell... Sorry..." I stutter my voice trailing off at the end. I mentally slap myself. 'Mads!! You just completely and totally embarrassed yourself in front of a really cute guy. Why must you be such an idiot??!!'

"So that's a yes? Yes you're O.K.?" he asks, a large grin is plastered across his face.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I say while admiring him. He has blond hair and dark blue eyes. He is wearing a leather jacket, sneakers and has a bad boy look about him that's just so... awesome...

I stare off into space and sigh like an idiot. "So, I'll see you around." He says and walks away.

"It's becoming apparent that I like bad boys. That's one of my problems."
