Mads' POV:

"MADS, ARE YOU PURPOSELY TRYING TO MAKE US LATE?!" James yells from downstairs.

"THANKS FOR BEING SO POILET!" I holler back sarcastically. "YOUR WELCOME." He replies, I skid down the hall and peek at the bottom of the steps, James is smirking smugly."You have an answer for everything don't you?" I ask. James thinks for a moment before answering "Yeah, pretty much."

I rush down the steps and lunge for my phone, lunch and back pack. "Will you be diving us today or should I be worried about catching the bus again?" I ask as I slip my text book into my backpack and grab my coat.

"Sure, I'll drive." He says slumping against the wall. I throw my bag over my shoulder then make my way to his car. I dump my stuff in and sit in the passenger's seat.

He just sits there, looking like he normally does; a careless bad boy. .But he's not driving.

"GO SPEED RACER!" I encourage him, cheering him on as he shoves in the key and twists it. His foot bounces on the gas peddle making the engine roar loudly.

We laugh as we skid down the road.

---

On the car ride James informs me about tonight.

"What should I wear?" I add this question to the list of the many I have asked so far. "Uh, something pretty but not too fancy or girlie he says looking me up and down, he hits a certain spot and he smiles, eyes a little wider than normal. He truly is a player.

"Eyes on the road Ja." I snap shoving his head from it's position.

"Ow, no need to get fired up Mads... So anymore questions?" He says, trying hard to change the subject. "Don't think so, I will call of I find one though."

"I know you will." He answers, smirking, yet again. I roll my eyes.

James POV:

We pull up school and as soon as I pull in for parking Mads is out the door. "Excited much?" I ask. She just smiles and runs through the large doors that are the entrance to the school.

I run after her, carrying her stuff. "Mads, you forg-" But I stop myself. She is being held close by Matt. My shoulders slump, I cant tell if it's from the weight of the backpack, or something more.

Matt slowly kisses her cheek, making sure to show her off as the cheerleaders go by. She blushes and her cheeks turn a light shade of pink. She glows with happiness as he pulls away from the kiss and puts his arm around her. But she side steps eligentley and slides her hand into his.

They begin to walk down the hall and I must shove my thoughts aside as I rush to Mads to give her the things she left.

Matt's POV:

It feels good. Having my hand locking with Madeline's. Her skin is soft, as were her cheeks when I pressed my lips against the skin.

'Why did you ever think about screwing her?' I wonder to myself. I could've easily toyed with her, as I did a few other gir-

"Mads!" My thoughts quickly escape me James rushes up to us. I cant help cringing. "You left this stuff in my truck." He explains, slightly winded from the run down the hall.

She takes a minute before reaching for her things and thanking James with sincere appreciation for his attentiveness.

I smile again as James walks away. "Cutie?" I ask, I unable to contain curiosity as I began to mutter the next words. "Is someth-"

"BRING, BRING, BRING!!!"

The late bell interrupts me. "What was it Mattie?" She asks, And i appreciate the concern that trails on her face. "Uh, nothing." I say hastily. "Just that; I will see you tonight at the train tracks?"

"Yeah." She says, her gaze goes from the floor to my eyes to my lips, but she quickly glances to my eyes again. "I guess you will."
