The Beginning to The End (Some Phan)

"Hm, h-hi mum" I said into the pay phone, I managed to build enough courage to phone her.
"Oh my god, Daniel, we were so worried, well your brother and I, your father-"
"Did he h-hurt you?"
"No, no, no, why would you think that, he just decided to forget you exist, according to him we have one son, I'm sorry"
"Its okay, I guess he would've found out at some point" I sighed.
"Well I can't stay on too long, love you so much, look after yourself"
"I love you too" I hung up the phone and got back into Jake's car.
"So how'd it go?"
"Well, she didn't say much, but she's fine and my brother" I said staring out window. We were still getting to his house.
"Oh, you have a brother?"
For a second I smiled thinking how supportive he was through all this.
"Yeah, he's an amazing person"
"That's cool, I have an older brother, Alex" He smiled looking at me for a spilt second and then back onto the road, I don't know what it was, but every time Jake smiles at me I get butterflies.
"You like him silly" I saw Phil in the rear mirror and sighed, I knew I couldn't bring myself to tell Jake I'm crazy and I imagine my dead best friend since he died.
"Is there something wrong?" Jake said obviously hearing me sigh.
"I guess-" I hesitated then changed the answer "well, are you sure its not a problem with me staying with you for a few days then I can organize where I'm going?"
"You can stay as long as you like, I need a housemate anyway" He smiled and I had noticed that we stopped at a modern looking house. I gasped this was a big house. Then oddly enough I saw a Familiar face, Mark. (Yes Mark lived in California before LA in this world)
"Mark?" I got out the car.
"Oh hey" He smiled.
"Hey Mark" Jake smiled too.
"Sorry for intruding, but I left some stuff here" He laughed.
"Okay, bye bye" Jake also laughed.
"Oh and Dan, so sorry about Phil" He hugged me, it took all my strength not cry.
"Its okay, I guess" I hugged back, tearing up a bit.
"Well, bye, I really hope you do YouTube again, you make so many people happy" He smiled at me before getting into his car.
We walked into the house and Jake lead me to my bedroom.
