The Beginning to The End (Some Phan)

Part 35

-Dan-

My reflection gleamed in the water and I got a flashback again.

-flashback-

I saw the headlights as Jake's car hit me, everything went black and all that I could hear was voices and sirens.
"He's breathing, keep him stable"

Then silence.

"Okay we brought him back, prep for immediate surgery stat!"

Silence again.

"Okay he's stable"

I heard silent crying, it's Phil.
"Will he be okay? Please tell me he'll be okay"
"We can't tell you at this point, we'll do more test and see"

I opened my eyes and saw Phil crying with Jake who was staring at me as everything went black once again.

-end flashback-

"That's before my dream?" I looked up at the moon, shining softly and giving the water a while and sliver likely was gleaming itself.

"This is crazy, Jake was so nice in my dream. Why does the world have to be so cruel, why did I think I'd get happy after?"
"Maybe you will" I turned to see Phil behind me panting.
"This wasn't just Chris and PJ's night, it was suppose to be ours too" He said softly sitting next to me.
"What?" I said back, shock and disappointment.
"See" He handed me a box, I opened and a key.
"It's for our new apartment, our stuff at home is being packed up as we speak" He smiled.
"Look under it"

I looked under it and there was a bracelet with Phil and my name in it. Dan and Phil 2009- forever.

I burst out into tears (of joy).
"Oh, D-Don't you like it?"
"I love it! I love you!" I said bringing into a tight hug.
"Let's go back and have dinner, Chris and Pjee are waiting for us"
"Yeah" I smiled, he took my hand into his, he looked at me for guidance and I nodded, so we walked back. Leaving the park of self reflection behind...
