I quickly followed Kyle as he stomped past. Kids in the cafeteria had their eyes on him. Watching and staring for the next big drama event to start in out school.
As I charged after Kyle I stepped in front of him, "Hey, Kyle it's fine. Let's just have a nice calm day for once." I pleaded. He looked me in the eyes and then looked around. He grabbed me and threw me over his shoulder, "Kyle! Put me down!" I screeched and pounded on his back. His shoulder was muscular but it was also uncomfortable. As Kyle kept walking, nearing the hallway where Damien was at. He grabbed one of the buff senior lifter friends of his and handed me off into his arms.
"Get your grubby hands off of me you despicable muscle head!" I yelled thrashing around wildly. He just chuckled at me and smiled. "Let me down! I don't think the head of schools will like you man handling people!" he laughed even harder, his grip got looser.
I turned my head towards Kyle and Damien and saw Damien duck from some punches. Suddenly, Kyle faked a punch and Damien ducked, Kyle quickly kicked his feet out and got on top of him.
I screamed "Let me go!" at the top of my lungs and many eyes drew towards me. I somehow managed to flap out of the muscle heads hands and sprint towards the fighting boys. Within the five seconds it took me to run over to them they were both pummeling each other. Fists were flying and they kept rolling around for someone to be on top. I knew it was dumb, but I had to do it.
I slid in between the boys as they fought, Kyle being on the bottom I laid stomach up and put my feet underneath Damien and pushed. A wild fist connected with my collar bone and I gasped as I i felt the pain push through my bones. Within seconds i pushed him off with my feet harshly.
"Hailow!" I heard Kyle yell as red clouded my vision. My eyes beginning to turn a bright
purple when I get emotional or angry. "First, get the hell off of me." I said and yanked my arm away from Kyle. "Second, get the hell away from each other." I said while gritting my teeth. "Last but not least, you're both going to be in trouble with me." I said and whirled around walking to my next class.
I was angry and most people stayed out of my way, I was glad that Sammie came up and walked with me to class, it helped me calm down a bit. She smiled at me and offered, "Want to have a sleepover this weekend?" I smiled, "Of Course! What time and where?" She did a fake peace sign and said "Probably Saturday night and up to you but I like your house way better." she spoke putting out her opinion. "Alright, come over whenever. Ill have the cook come and we can have some of his macn cheese!" I said with a giant smile. "Cool! I gotta go to English, see you after school!" she said as she walked away. "Bye!"
I walked into my next few classes and listened to the teachers drawling on and on.
The last bell of the day rang and I pulled out my phone. I had 3 texts, one from my mother, from Kyleeeeee and one from an unknown number
Mom: Hope you had a great first day sweetie!
Kyle: I'm coming over to your house after school. Be there at 5:30. I've got practice
Unknown: Meet me at the gym balcony after school.
I then went to my locker and packed up my bag. Throwing it over my shoulder and headed towards the gym to meet the person with my number.
It took me five minutes to walk to the gym and went to the gym balcony with a huge surprise on who it was. There sat Damien in his practice football pads. He connected eyes with me and I spun around on my heel to walk away.
He quickly grabbed my hand and spun me back around. I looked up at him because he was considerably taller than me at 6'3. "Don't touch me." I said wincing and pulled my arm back. "I'm sorry earlier I was a dick and shouldn't have kissed you. Kyle shouldn't have fought me thou-" I cut him off briefly, "If we're here to talk about Kyle. He can handle himself. Unlike you. He was only defending me. We were alone in a bathroom. Sounds pretty sketchy." I said harshly. Holding my collar bone that had a nasty bruise on it.
"You're right, I'm not here to talk about Kyle. I wanted to know if there was a chance that we could be friends? Maybe you could come to the football game this Friday? Since Kyle is starting and I am too." he said with a pleading voice.
"I was coming to the game anyway. We can try being "friends" as long as you don't get in a fight with Kyle and you never. Ever. Hit me again." I took a deep breath and looked at the time. "Doesn't your practice start in five minutes?" I asked. "Shit! It does! I gotta go Hailow, I'll text you!" he said and ran off waving.
I waved back and turned around. Confused at the turn of events, thinking about how bipolar my school is. I walked out of my school and into the parking lot. I easily found my baby and hopped in setting off to go home.
I was so confused about the boys.
