The time between us

Chapter 5

As Luci was inside the object she started to feel dizzy, nervous, and sick. But after she stoped thinking, the object started to shake and vibrate. It vibrated and rumbled, until its stopped. She started to feel relieved until she felt like she was dropping. She panicked and screamed and feared that this was her last time on earth. As she closed her eyes the drop stoped and stayed still. She sat up from her chair and carefully pressed the open button. As she pressed it, she was immediately changed into 40's style clothing. After she was changed she fell out of the object and landed on her back.

When she opened her eyes she was in a hospital. she mumbled, "Who are you and where am I?"as she mumbled.
A middle age woman with short blonde hair and dazzling blue eyes spoke up and said, "Young lady, your in the hospital. You were found on the sidewalk. Luckily you don't have a concussion or any injuries, your very blessed to be around.
Another lady spoked up and said, "I would hate for a beautiful lady with gorgeous hair to be buried."
All of the ladies chuckled and laugh. Luci was beautiful, her hair was not to miss, it catches every eye that sees her.

"Luci squinted as she tried to open her eyes, all the ladies gasped as they looked at her stunning brown eyes. It was also not so common to have brown eyes, most of every had blue or green.
" Now do have parents or relatives living on California." one of nurses asked.
Luci's eyes started to water, her voice started to tremble. It was hard to remember the fact her family was gone, and her best friend Annika .
"I..I..my family is gone." All of the
nurses gasped. Brenda, a short but kind and lovely nurse asked, "What happened to them, they couldn't have-." Brenda got hushed by another nurse name Margret. " Don't ask how", she scolded. " If no one will I will take her and she will be my child, she is quit beautiful and I couldn't bare to put her up for adoption." All of the nurses hollered and wanted to take her, but Luci had made up her mind. She would go with Margret, she looked kind, loving, caring, and beautiful.
But it was so hard to choose, they were all wonderful ladies. And why was she in California. Could she possibly be in the in the 1940's.
