You walk out of the café and run outside. The rain falls on your head, soaking your hair. You hold a newspaper above your head like an umbrella, but it soaks and you still get drenched. It was getting dark and you want to get home ASAP to your boyfriend Jayden (first name that popped into my head). You take out your phone and see an Instagram notification. You then open it and see a picture of Jayden kissing another girl with the caption "Bae 😘". 'HOW DARE HE!! I CANT BELIEVE THIS!!' You think as you sit down on a nearby bench, tears rolling down your face. It slowly gets darker and it is still pouring. The sun is setting when all of a sudden something blocked the light for a brief moment, then you feel something warm covering you as someone sits next to you. You look at yourself and see a light brown jacket around your shoulders. Then you look to your right to see a blue haired man smiling at you. He puts his arm around you to keep you warm. You look into his eyes and see that he is your best friend Ethan. You smile and lay your head on his shoulder. "Why aren't you with Jayden?" He asks. You break into tears and show him the picture. He frowns and holds you tight. He rubs your back as you cry into his shoulder. "You have no where to stay do you." You shake your head no. He stands you up and he walks with you, letting himself get soaked. You try to give him his jacket but he keeps it on you to have you stay warm. He walks you back to his apartment and as you walk up the steps to the front door, he stops suddenly. You look at him and he smiles at you and pulls you to him. He rests a hand on your cheek and kisses you. Rain falls on your heads smoothly. You smile, kissing back. He pulls away and whispers "will you please be my girlfriend?" You nod and he hugs you tight, giving you warmth from the fall chill. "I love you"
