It's been a year since Remington's first single hit the radio stations. It hit number 1 on Itunes in 36 hours. The single sold millions of digital copies, and was number 1 on the charts for a month. Remi, the boys, and Simon were completely blown away. Quickly, Remi was forced to throw together an album. Luckily, she had been recording songs with Sal before everything happened. After 2 months of working, she released a rock album titled It Changes Daily that went platinum. After that, nothing was the same.

She was no longer Remington Cartwright. Her stage name became Remi Wright. (Simon said she needed to change it due to the fact that her name was after a type of gun.) She's queen of the pop rock scene and although she has a fair amount of haters, her fan base is pretty huge.

It took her 2 months after the album was released before she got up the courage to start doing interviews in person. All interviews prior were over the phone. The media had a field day with the fact that she was forced into the business, (Simon released a statement after the single incident telling the public that this was against her wishes, but due to the success of the single she would be releasing an album)

She signed a contract with SYCO Music that stated she would only perform as long as she was with the boys of One Direction. Although Simon didn't agree at first, because their music styles clash completely, (they're pop, she's rock), he caved in knowing she would never comply with a tour if Harry wasn't there. Therefore their joint tour starts soon. It's also in the works that the tour will become a concert movie to be released in theatres.

She and Harry became THE celebrity couple after she started doing on air interviews with them. Both of them found it extremely annoying to be a power couple. They never could go anywhere without Paparazzi stalking their every move; and there was never an occasion where an interviewer didn't ask about the two of them. Countless times Remi would just say there was no way she could get though any of this with out Harry.

One Direction just released their new album. A project Remi was extremely excited to find out that she still got to work on. It went multi-platinum, though presales alone, and was well on it's way to going diamond.

Remi obviously decided not to go back to school to finish her degree, after the release of the single it was no longer an option. She's yet to go back to the states since she left for her internship.
