The first day of school
8.00 am

Random POV
The three girls got to doing their morning routine before heading out to a nearby cafe for a hearty breakfast and a bunch of highly caffeinated power drinks. The shop was usually empty so they enjoyed going there for breakfast. They chatted constantly as Haneul's excitement did not die down. She had her best friends with her and she was ready to start the semester!

Chaeyoung's POV
Today was the day we started school with Haneul and we were so excited. We brought her to the office to collect and clear up all the administrative matters.

"Lee Haneul, here's all your schedules and school info is all in this booklet here. If you have any other questions, you can ask the counselor at room 637 or your friends that I have officially assigned as your school tour guides. Have fun!" The lady at the reception said. 

We walked out when Haneul suddenly spoke.

"What's your first class?"

"We have the slightly similar timetables so we can sit together for some classes! The first period is Calculus." Nayeon replied.

Haneul's POV
My friends are so sweet and they mean a lot to me! I really don't know what I'll do without them!

Regardless, we started making our way to our first class, Calculus with Mr. Kim. Room 193. I sat in the center seat at the back of the class with my 2 best friends on both sides of me.

"좋은 마침 입 니 다!"(Good morning)
"좋은 마침 입 니 다 Mr. Kim!"(Good morning Mr. Kim)
"Today we have a new student so let's give a warm welcome and treat her well! Welcome, Lee Haneul!" The teacher said and pointed in my direction. I stood up and bowed as Mr. Kim told me to make a self-introduction.

"Anneyonghaeseyo. 저는하늘 에요!" (I am Haneul) I introduced. "I have a modeling career and I can dance and sing but now I'm trying to finish my studies so please treat me well. Thank you!" The students gave me warm smiles and clapped. Looks like this semester is off to a great start. I took my place next to my friends as Mr. Kim started the lesson.

Time passed quickly and soon the class had ended. We thanked Mr. Kim before we headed to our next class. Unfortunately, I needed to grab some textbooks so Nayeon and Chaeyoung accompanied me.
The hallway was filled up with many students so I was pushed from side to side before finally reaching my locker.
"Is it always this crowded?"
"Ne," they replied.

The next class was English and I am able to speak fluent English because of my career requirements. This made me excited to put my language skills to use.

Our supposed teacher, Ms. Lee, was not here and a stand-in teacher was there instead to take over.
"Haneul, can you read what's on the board?" The teacher asked.

"Yes, teacher. Grace had a big family gathering that evening as they had decided to celebrate her birthday at a fancy Italian restaurant.", pronouncing it in fluent English.

The class looked at me in awe and the teacher praised me for doing a great job. I started turning red from all the attention and sat back down, waiting to be dismissed for a lunch break.

"Ring!"

Lunch break...

"Why don't I help us get seats while you two order? I want some Kimbap and Spicy Kimchi Ramen!" Chaeyoung asked. We nodded and proceeded to the queue, grabbing an extra tray for Chaeyoung's food.

Nayeon tapped my shoulder to get my attention and whispered:
"Here the girls come. To our right."
I turned as subtly as I could and caught sight of a tall girl with beautiful auburn hair, her friends surrounding her while attending to her every need as they scanned for tables. They spotted one where people were sitting at and made them move away. Rude much. One of the girls in the clique was trying to pass the bottle to the girl but she got impatient and snatched it from her. I turned my head back to Nayeon trying not to look too nosy. I shifted my attention back to the lunch lady and focused on my order. After all, that girl didn't seem to need my attention.
