The next couple of months go by pretty fast and seen as Jennifer wasn't planning on continuing education that wasn't a problem. Jennifer had stayed with Johnny ever since she first arrived and Jackie had visited a time or two. They planned on getting married in September and today was the day!
(Johnny)
I gulp as I look in the mirror. I hope I look alright to her. I brush a comb through my gelled hair one last time and turn around to Bill Carter, my best man.
"Do I look okey?"
He smiles proudly at me, "You look great man. Getting nervous yet?"
"How could I not be?"
We walk down to the lobby of our hotel and wait for the wedding car to pick us up.

"Okey, I think I'm ready."
Lily and Caroline, my brides maids and best friends look at me, smiling.
Caroline smiles, "You look stunning!"
"Yeah you do."
I smile nervously, "Will he think so?"
Lily nods her head quickly, "Of course he will Jennifer, you know he will."
I sigh and look at myself once more in the mirror, "Yeah, hopefully."
Caroline looks at the clock, "Come on you guys, the car will be waiting for us downstairs."

The car ride to the Church seems the the longest 20 minutes of my life! Hearing Bill babble on about shit and my nerves don't help with the time. Eventually, after what seems like forever we arrive at the Church. I step out of the car, into the brightly lit day and smile to myself. Perfect.
I walk inside and am greeted by many smiling faces. I walk over to my mom and talk to her.
"Hey mom."
"Hello Johnny, you look gorgeous!"
I smile nervously, "Thanks."
She tuts and shakes her head, "Is Johnny all nervous?"
"Maybe."
Oh great, now she's going to tease me about it but to my surprise she doesn't.
"It'll be alright son."
Right then the priest, father Barrowman approaches us.
He smiles, "Johnny, you need to come up now."
I slowly walk with him and wait by the alter for Jennifer to come in.

Lily places a loose strand of my hair out of my face and to the side, beaming at me excitedly, "You ready?"
I giggle, "No!"
She puts her hand back down to her side, "You'll be fine."
Caroline asks, "So who is giving you away again Jennifer?"
"Jackie."
I smile at the thought of seeing her and right at that moment she comes out of the side of the Church and grins whilst walking towards me.
I laugh, "Speak of the devil."
Lily smiles reassuringly, "Alright, well we'll see you later then."
