(Johnny)
We walk through the forest, the only sound being our footsteps and light breathing. After about 10 minutes I give Jennifer a piggyback to speed things up a little. I can sense that she's nervous but also...excited? We run through the pitch black forrest and it's at times like this when I love having vampire vision. As we near the mountain I slow down and gradually come to a halt. I let Jennifer down and take her hand in mine again. We quietly walk into a more wooded area as we get within sight of the bottom of the mountain. I can feel that Jennifer is shaking slightly and I stop to look down at her.
"Are you ok?"
She nods and looks deeply into my eyes, "Just a bit scared!"
I stroke her fringe back behind her ear and kiss her forehead, "Don't worry, I won't let anybody hurt you! Not ever!"
She smiles slightly and suddenly hugs me, "I love you so much Johnny."
I slide my arms around her fragile body and whisper, "I love you too. More then you could ever imagine."
And it's true! If anyone ever lays a finger on her I swear to God I will rib every bone from their body, slowly and painfully. I'm sure sometimes when she holds me tight I feel my heart beat! Just once, one single beat every so often! It's amazing, how one single, beautiful girl can cause my heart to best again you know? Wow.
She slowly pulls away and we resume our quiet walking until we can see the entrance to a cave. We approach slowly and before going in I guide Jennifer over to a bush that is facing the cave. We duck down below it.
I whisper, "You ready?"
She nods.
"Ok, so you remember how to fire a gun and everything right?"
She rolls her eyes, "Johnny my parents were spies, I think I remember how to fire a gun."
I rise an eyebrow and smirk, "Sassy!"
She smiles proudly back and I giggle.
"So you're gonna be alright you know, killing someone if it comes down to it?"
She nods slowly and I ask, "Ok, so we're gonna run in there alright? With my vampire speed."
"Alright. Johnny?"
"Yeah?"
She smiles, "I love you!"
I smile back and lean towards her lips, "Love you too."
I peck her lips and I shuffle around so that she can jump on my back. Once on there I hold her thighs around me and dart straight for the cave! It's dimly lit with old fire torches along the walls suggesting that people will be around. When I suddenly smell someone close by I divert into a side passage and stop. I look back out into the original tunnel and see someone lazily walking along, towards us. I roll my eyes and suddenly dart off in their direction, slamming them against the wall and covering their mouth with a hand. Jennifer jumps off me and hold a gun towards him.
I whisper sternly, "Who are you?"
He stutters, obviously scared out of his wits, "J..Just a w..worker."
I grow impatient, "Who for?"
Oh God, why aren't I just using compulsion. I turn my eyes black and scowl at him, "Where is your master?"
"Deep in the cave. I can take you to him if you need me to?"
"That would be great now go!"
I tie his hands up with some rope from around my waist just incase and make sure he has no weapons. Once I'm satisfied that he's clear I take Jennifer's cold hand in mine and she looks up at me. I look down and smile, kissing her forehead before taking my gun and pressing it against the man's back to make him lead us on.
