Chapter 24

"I think its only right if the girls go first" Jake said as he looked across and smiled at me and Leah, 3 more boys had turned up now, Charlie was here, awks i know, someone called Taylor and Jordi. There was also another three girls, Chloe, Madison and Maggie. "so who's up?" Taylor asked, everyone went silent for a few minutes, it made the situation even more awkward than before. "How about Chloe?" Maggie said laughing as Chloe playfully punched her arm. "er yeah i guess i'll go" Chloe said not knowing what to expect, she was asked truth or dare and she chose a dare. I'm not too sure why but there seemed to be a awkwardness between Matt and Charlie, i understand the whole Leah thing but it seemed like something had happened and they'd met before this. I just shrugged my thoughts away and carried on listening to everyone talk about dares, Matt looked across at Charlie with a really sly look on his face, what was he going to do? I looked at Leah who could clearly see Matt's mischievous mind as well and looked like she knew something that i didn't. "Chloe i dare you to kiss Charlie" Matt said as he smirked at Charlie, Chloe looked extremely nervous before looking around to see if anyone was going to say anything to stop her, everyone just sat in silence unsure of what to say. Charlie looked at Mat and gave him a really dirty look before Leo sat up straight and said "Charlie mate, don't leave the girl waiting" Charlie looked at Chloe or approval and then stood up, he walked over to her and her cheeks flushed bright red, Charlie kissed her and pulled away, they both smiled and were clearly embarrassed. The other boys joked around wolf whistling and Maggie and Madison were jokingly teasing Chloe. "Well i ship it" me and Leah laughed in sync, Matt smiled at Charlie and I'm starting to think i got the whole sly thing wrong, maybe Matt and Charlie's awkwardness was sensed between them too, he did it to try an brake the ice. It worked.

The game carried on and we all did stupid little dares and some quite embarrassing truths. It started to get late and a lot of the others had gone home, it was now just me, Leah, Matt, Leo, Charlie and funnily enough Chloe, we'd made a massive den on the floor dangling blankets right through from the kitchen on the sides to over the TV and sofas on to some higher clothe racks that Matt had from when he first moved in, we put loads of blankets and cushions on the floor and Matt and Leah went back to hers to get fairy lights so we wrapped them around the chair so we had some light other than the TV, we all sat on the floor Matt and Leah at the back end, me and Leo on the right and Charlie and Chloe leaning on the left. The boys had talked us into watching a horror movie, we were all terrified, i looked across and Charlie and Chloe and they looked so cute, Matt sure had done them a favor, especially Charlie, all he'd done for the past month or so was mope around. "THAT'S IT I'M TAKING A BREAK" Leah half yelled half laughed after she'd just screamed and hid her head in Matt's chest at the freaky face on the movie. She Crawled out of the den and stood up, Matt still cry laughing at her reaction. "I'm so hungry" she complained from outside the den. "Yeah me too actually" Chloe agreed, Matt crawled out of the den followed by the rest of us and agreed with her as they both looked for snacks in the cupboard, "I knew i should've gone shopping yesterday" Matt said to himself and anyone who was listening, suddenly Matt's eyes lit up and he got the biggest smile as he ran through to his room and coming back out with his phone and a piece of paper with a number on it. "What on earth are you doing?" i asked him laughing at his face "WHO WANTS PIZZA?!" we all cheered in agreement laughing and doing funny dances. Matt rang up the Pizza delivery service and ordered 2 pepperoni and 2 margarita cheese Pizza's, they were from somewhere called Pizza face, apparently they where the best pizza's around.

After the pizza arrived we all finished them off sat in the den watching the rest of the movie, we didn't eat it all as there was way too much so Matt put it on the side in case anyone wanted it later. Not surprisingly Leo fell asleep again with his head on my lap, not for long though because i kept jumping from the jump scares in the movie. After it ended i stood up and stretched as i got out of the den, it was school tomorrow and i needed to get home and get everything ready, honestly i was dreading it and i had no idea how Leah was going to cope without Matt. "Guys unfortunately i'm going to have to love ya and leave ya, iv'e gotta get home and get everything ready for school tomorrow" i said as i pulled a sad face at the thought of gong to school. "yeah to be fair i thin i should go too" Leo said as he stood up and put his arm around me, Chloe and Charlie said they were leaving too and stood up, we all said goodbye and left leaving Leah and Matt at Matt's place still. Me and Leo waved goodbye to Charlie and Chloe as we both walked separate ways. "See i told you we'd have fun Leo said as he held my hand and swung our arms back and fourth, "yeah yeah okay your'e right" i laughed, He walked up to my doorstep with me and went to say goodbye. "So pick you up at 9 for school?" he asked already knowing the answer, "you know it" i smiled back, he kissed my cheeks and we said goodbye, i went inside and had a shower before getting into bed and checking my Instagram, seeing loads of the pictures that we all took today being posted, I posted one too before locking my phone and turning over falling straight asleep.

Leah's POV:

Everyone had left leaving just Matt and I clearing up, it didn't take us too long so we just sat down on his bed scrolling through twitter and Instagram for a while, i'd already asked mum if i could stay over Matt's for the last night before school when i went home to get the fairy lights earlier so i had taken my clothes and stuff for tomorrow with me, i went into the bathroom and put on my pajama shorts and one of Matt's tops, took y makeup off and put my hair into a messy bun. I climbed into Matt's huge queen sized beg and plugged my phone into charge on the side, Matt and I weren't officially dating, i'm not too sure what we were, as far as labels go we were just friends, but with the odd kiss every now and then, it had been 2 weeks since the party when we met and we'd become really close, it was like i'd known him forever. I turned around in the darkness and looked up at Matt, he opened his eyes and looked down at me, "whats up gorgeous" he asked as he ran his fingers through my hair, i smiled at how content i was in the moment before it turned into a frown again, "Matt..what are we?" i asked him "well you see Leah, we're this thing called the human species, its really co-" i cut him off and let out a slight giggle, "no you idiot, you know what i mean" i replied, "I really like you Leah, since that first day at the party iv'e always liked you" my heart melted at his words and at the fact he was still running his hands through my hair. His big hazel eyes looked into mine, "so, will you be my girlfriend?" , he actually asked me, he actually really asked me! I smiled and nodded my head "Yes Matt i will", He leaned in and our lips touched, it was like fireworks and butterflies exploding in my stomach all at the same time, he pulled away reluctantly and rested his head on my forehead, both of our eyes became heavy as he wrapped his arms around me, "lets sleep now" he said in the cutest sleepy voice ever as he pulled me closer and we fell asleep.
