"So, How is Kevin?" Dean asked, cupping his tea cup, and looking at Castiel. Sam and Jess went to put Helena to sleep and read a bed time story. Castiel shrugged "Good; he had an interview today. He was presenting an invention to his bosses."
"What does he work as?" Dean turned towards Castiel's chair, hoisting his feet up to the couch. "He's the assistant of a CEO in New delms" Dean raised his eyebrows, nodding his head. "impressive"
"Yeah; it is"
"How old is he?"
"You don't remember? He's-He's twenty four, Dean"
"It's not that I don't remember, I just lost count after the first four years"
Castiel shook his head; taking out his phone and giving it to Dean. "What?" Dean took the phone; opening it and staring at Castiel's background. Kevin had longish hair; he was thinner but appeared happier than he last saw him; he was holding up his high school degree while making a thumbs up towards the Camera. Castiel and Sam were either side of him; smiling with their eyes closed and holding the thumbs up, too.
"I missed his graduation" Dean muttered to himself; barley audible to Castiel.
"He said he wanted Sam there, He was the first above his school. He sent you a text"
"Yeah, I know"
Castiel nodded, biting his bottom lip and look away. "It's getting late; Kevin is probably home so I have to make dinner for him. Tell them I left. Goodbye Dean" Castiel stood up, and put on his coat.
"Yes, wait, no. I mean wait" Dean placed his cup on the coffee table; following Castiel to the door. "Hmm?"castiel turned around. Dean contemplated what to do next.
"I wanted to say... I Wanted to say sorry?" He slapped himself on the inside. "Ok? I'll be going now?" Castiel furrowed his brows.
"i can give you a ride"
"I'll call a cab; Thank you"
"Hey, why spend money when you can...not spend money?"
"Dean-"
"I swear; it's only a ride; alright?"
"Fine"
