Ruth caught Vicky before she fainted. Panicked struck him as he began to shook Vicky hard hoping that she would regain her consciouness but she did not. Her skin grew pale and colder every minute. Immediately he lay her gently on the bed and ran off to find some medication. He hoped that he could use his magic but it was not enough and he was still weak after the battle with Maldiva where she had absorb half of his power into her soul.
Vicky fell with a loud thud on the ground. She was back in the cave. She heard voices around her and than she saw a small girl around the age of 7 running infont of her,giggling hapily " You can't catch me!" she said, running as fast as her little feet could take her.
Vicky look around her confusely and saw no one else because she was sure that she wasn't the one whose chasing the litle girl.Suddenly the were-dragon boy came running after the little girl with a huge smile plastered on his face." We'll see! I am faster you know."
Vicky tried to grab his arm but her hand just went through him like she was a complete hologram. Reality hit her right at her face. She then realized that this was a dream. Not just any dream but it was her memory and that little girl was her. Finding herself invisible to them she followed them out of the cave that leads towards a meadow.
That fun,chasing around time turned to a total disaster.She found dragon-boy kneeling at the edge of the meadow or so she think it is and it is true that they are at the edge of the meadow because the whole meadow and the cave is actually a floating land. Vicky ran to him and her 7 year old self was hanging at the edge of the meadow clinging to were-dragon boy's arm.
" Ruth! Help! Don't let go of me!" the 7 year old Vicky pleaded
" I swear I'll never let you go." Ruth held her hand tightly but he can't hold on longer." Now, Vicky. I need you to trust me.Do you trust me?"
Frighten 7 year old Vicky nodded. Even Ruth was not sure his plan would work but he will make it work for Vicky's sake. He let go of Vicky's hand and immediately transformed to his dragonself. He flew fast past 7 year old Vicky and stop a few feet below her. When he feel a hard impact on his back and a strong grip on his neck, he sighed in relieved as if the weight of the world fall of his shoulder.
He landed safely on the meadow and transformed,hugging 7 year old Vicky tightly, consoling her. The real life Vicky watched in shocked and almost terror at what just happen.
" You're safe now," Ruth whispered to 7 year old Vicky.
Still frighten, the 7 year old Vicky tried hard to smile at him though it looked more like a grimace." Thank you, Ruth."
Everything around real life Vicky stopped again and the tornado portal starts too spin again.
