It was your 19 birthday and your parents were throwing you a big party. Your boyfriend, Nick, was already there and you guys were hanging out in your living room watching movies. 

"Are you excited for tonight?" Nick asked, wrapping his arms around you. 

You smiled and hugged him back, "Yes" 

You continued watching movies until it was time to go to your party.

*Party* 

You arrived at your party with Nick and headed inside seeing a lot of people that you knew. You looked around the crowd of people and your eyes landed on someone that you weren't expecting to be there.

Justin, your ex. 

Your eyes widened and you tried to walk the opposite way. 

"Hey whats wrong?" Nick asked you pulling you back.

"Um..nothing, im just going to talk to some friends, ill catch up with you later."

He let go of you and you headed towards your group of friends, wishing what you saw wasn't real. 

You and Justin dated for 2 years. 2 YEARS and he cheated on you. He never cared about you and after the day you left, you never talked to him since. 

"hey girl! happy birthday!!!" your best friend ___ came up to you and hugged you.

you hugged back and decided tonight was about you, you're not going to worry about Justin or anything.

this is your night.

*20 min later*

"(y.n)!!! oh my gosh nick is fighting with someone." (Y.B.F) came running around to you.

"what!?" you pushed passed her and headed to where she said he was. you pushed your self passed a crowd and saw Justin holding nick against the wall, his face close to nicks.

"don't you eve talk about her like that again!" he pushed him against the wall causing him to moan in pain.

"awww does Justin still have feelings for her?" you were to shocked at the scene to do anything.

"maybe I do, maybe I don't. what's it matter?"

nick pushed Justin off of him and now Justin was the one falling back. "I don't know if you knew this or not, but she's mine. she has feelings for me not you."

it was obvious that they didn't know you were standing there.

"how would she feel if she knew how you talked about her? how you act like she's nothing?" you heard Justin yell, confusion taking over you.

"what she doesn't know won't hurt her."

Justin's face turned to anger as he punched nick in the face, causing nick to fall down. "she deserves better than you!!"

nick rolled around to face him, "like you can do better, you'll just cheat on her again." Justin was getting ready to go at him again when you stopped him.

"Justin!!!"

Justin quickly turned around and stared at you.

"stop."

"Wait its not wh-" Justin started but nick interrupted by walking towards you.

"he just beat me up for no reason! get him out of here!!" he started to wrap his arms around you but you pushed him away, "don't touch me."

nick stepped back shocked, "w-what?"

"I stood here the whole time. I heard everything."

"its not what it sounds like!" He tried to explain but you didn't listen

"leave." he stood there staring at you before he finally started walking out. once he was gone you looked at Justin who was looking at the ground.

"(y.n) I'm so sorry I did that. I ruined your party...I should leave." he started to walk out but you stopped him.

"wait! don't go..."

he turned around and looked at you confused.

"is it true? do you still have feelings for me?"

Justin fell silent and then nodded his head, "I never stopped"

that when you realized Justin was the one you needed. Even though he made a mistake you were willing to give him a second Chance.

you walked over to him and grabbed his hand "wanna dance?"

he smiled at you and you smiled back. he nodded his head and you both went to the dance floor, enjoying the rest of the night.
