I sit inside a dirty girl's bathroom stall and overhear conversations of girls either gossiping about other girls or talking about how hot the guys are in this school. They must be new because there aren't many hot guys at my school. I can only think of one good looking guy but I rather not say his name. It is too mortifying. Plus I am sure he knows how all the girls practically drool over his looks and those yummy eyes. All I have to do is look into those icy blue whirlpools and I am instantly hooked. I catch myself drooling a little and I wipe it off. Gosh, what the heck is happening to me? I shouldn't be having those thoughts.
Finally, the bell rings reminding everyone that first period has ended and it is time for the next one. Great, I have Mr. Kinston for second period and I am not really in the mood for his boring lectures on the civil war and our founding fathers. However, I cannot make a bad impression on the first day of school. It is already sucks that I had that major freak out in Mrs. Robertson's class.
Stretching my sore joints and toes, I open the door and hurry towards the second floor. I make sure to duck my head and concentration on the stairs that my legs are climbing up. For what feels like forever I make it to the classroom door and run inside as if my life depended on it. I do not even bother looking to see who is in my class. I just grab the closest seat next to me and sit down until Mr. Kinston's class is over.
"I'm free! I'm free! Bless thy lord I am free." I run into Nate's arms and he hugs me tightly while chuckling into my hair.
"So, I take it social studies was super boring." He pulls away and pushes my hair back for me. As he does this, I notice a couple of freshmen girls giving me the snake-eye. What the heck is their problem?
"Let's just say I contemplated slitting my wrists with a pencil. Gruesome I know but it was my only option." We both laugh and Nate puts his arm around my shoulders while we head towards the library.
"Well I am glad you didn't cause I already need help with my geometry homework."
"Oh I see." We find a place to seat in the corner and I place my bag onto the desk, "You only keep me around to use my brain."
"No I keep you around for that sexy body of yours. Your brain is just a bonus." He winks at me and gives me that infamous cute dimply smirk.
I feel my cheeks heat up and rapidly look away.
"Did I just make Allie Darwin blush?" He tries to push my head up but I keep dodging his hands.
"Oh come on let me see! This will be a first for me." Little does he know I often do this around his presence.
"Nate!" I say sternly, "Can't we stop focusing on me and focus on your geometry." I attempt to grab his notebook but my body is being lifted and I land on his lap. The air has been knocked right out of me. These are one of the times I wish I was able to curse at someone, but instead I give him the meanest look I could stir up.
"Really? You are actually going to try and give me that devilish look?" He pinches my cheek and rests his head against my shoulder, "I think your mean look is cute."
My mind settles on just him and me for a few sounds and our surroundings no longer exist. I simply concentrate on how right it feels it have his covered denim thighs pressed up against mine while his nose tickles my neck. I shiver as his breath hits my neck and I have the nerve to rest my hand against his. My fingers tighten around his and I am engulfed in his scent. Suddenly, I am feeling very lightheaded and my mind begins to play tricks on me.
A scene plays inside of my head and it is of my lips caressing against Nate's. It is us tasting it each other for the first time. My tongue slips into his mouth and he responds quickly by massaging mine. He is the perfect kisser. He knows when it is okay to nibble on my bottom lip and when to take breathes in between our intimacy. Things slowly start to get interesting as my hand heads downward. The noise of Nate's zipper is incredibly loud and it causes me to shake with nervousness. My voice is completely breathy when I say the words, "I have never done this before."
