Nagisa sat on the dark blue couch of the living room. His light blue hair was tied into two pigtails on either side of his head, per usual, and even though school was out, the boy still wore his uniform. He was too intrigued by the book that he held in his hands to change. He had found it just yesterday and since then he hadn't been able to put it down. Karma stood in the doorway of the living room, his back against the door frame. His metallic red eyes glared at the blue haired boy who sat, still reading that book of his. His face held an un-amused, slightly annoyed expression to it. Ever since Nagisa got that book he'd been ignoring Karma teases and flirts. This annoyed the red-haired boy immensely. He wasn't getting the attention he wanted and that irritated him, especially when it was from his boyfriend.
Nagisa giggled at his boyfriends joke as the two walked down the gray sidewalk. It was early morning, the sun only half way out of the horizon, and the two were making their way to school. Something caught Nagisa's eyes as he stopped and turned. Karma noticed the boys attention waver and stopped, a few steps ahead of the boy.
"What's up, Nagisa?" Karma asked the boy, a neutral expression residing on his face. Nagisa looked up at the building in front of him.
"A book store...?" The boy dazedly asked. Karma walked over to where the boy stood, turning as well to see what he was looking at.
"Huh, whadda ya know. Looks like they've opened one up."
"Yeah..." Karma's eyes glanced at the boy who still only glared at the store. A smirk soon pressed against his lips.
"How about we take a detour and take a look around." Nagisa turned to the taller boy.
"Are you sure? We might be late to school."
"Ah, well be fine, we'll just take a look around~" Karma took the boy's wrists and dragged him inside. Nagisa only sighed.
"No going back now..." He mumbled. The two entered the new book store, pausing and taking a look around. Everything a neat and spotless, books organized by genre in the back and the cashier to the side. Even though it was small, it was still quaint. "It sure is nice in here." Nagisa commented. The two went over to the back where the bookshelf's were located. They both decided to head into the "Science Fiction" section. The two looked around, their eyes glancing over each book. One specific book caught Nagisa's eye. He tilted his head slightly before grabbing it and pulling it out of the shelf. He opened it, letting his eyes skim over the first page. A smile came to his lips before he closed the book and rushed over to his boyfriend. "Karma!" He called. The red-haired boy turned to him. "Can we get this?" He asked, showing him the book. The title read "Scarlet" and the cover showed a red cape flowing in the wind belonging to some girl who's body was cut out, her arm and some of her red hair the only thing to show of her. Karma tilted his head to the side. His usual smirk appeared.
"I don't see why not?" Nagisa gave him a close-eyed smile.
This was a mistake
Karma crossed his arms. This was all his fault. He shouldn't have let Nagisa get the book or even let them go into the book store. Well, whatever happened, happened but he still needed to get Nagisa's attention back. He stood up straight and walked over tot he occupied boy, standing in front of where he sat. Nagisa didn't seem to notice, still entranced in the book. Karma narrowed his eyes and bent down to his level, leaning in slightly.
"Nagisa~" He put a finger on the page Nagisa read and gently pressed down, his face now replacing what Nagisa was reading, a smirk playing against his lips. The blue-haired boy raised an eyebrow. Karma leaned in towards the boy who only tried backing away from him. Eventually, his back hit the couch as Karma was now inches away from his face. The shorter boy's cheeks tinted pink.
"K-Karma, what are you doing...?" The boy asked, already getting a bit flustered. Karma leaned in more, their forehead touching.
"You've been paying so much attention to that book that you've hardly noticed I've existed." His hand went under the boys's chin, tilting it up towards him. "Now give me some of your attention." He whispered before closing the space between the two, their lips touching. Nagisa eyes were wide for a moment but they quickly softened before closing. He kissed the boy back. The kiss began to get a bit more heated, the red-headed boy getting a bit more rough with the boy below him. Nagisa's hands went up to the boy's shoulder blades, trying to push him off for a break, but Karma only leaned in more. Nagisa's eyes scrunched up as he finally unconnected their lips, gasping for air. Karma panted lightly, a smirk still pressed against his lips. After a few seconds, Karma quickly leaned back in, taking the advantage of Nagisa's open mouth, slipping his tongue inside. This took Nagisa by surprise, his eyes widening but soon closing harshly as their tongues began to fight for dominance. Karma won easily, exploring the boy's mouth with great pleasure. Karma's hands moved to the boy's waist, wrapping around it while Nagisa's hands moved from his shoulder blade to the back his neck, leaning into the kiss more and making the two fall off the couch with a loud thud. This didn't stop them from continuing to kiss each other passionately. After a few minutes of their make-out session, the two parted from each other, both panting heavily. Nagisa rested his head on his boyfriend's chest, his arms still wrapped around his neck and his eyes closing. Karma's chin rested on top of the boy's head. "You should pay attention to me more often." The red-haired boy said, his smirk still pressed against his lips. Nagisa giggled.
"I should, shouldn't I?"
