The kit; his name was Sharpkit, growled and slashed his more matured right claw across your face, even though you managed to drag your small needle-like claw across his flank as you fell. His howl awoke your mother who stared at the scene in surprise, "You three! Come here now!"

As you shake your mother awake, the kits scramble into the most innocent positions they cane manage. Your mother, Raincloud, wakes and glances up blearily.

The kit's tail twitched as he strides over to you, but you feel your mothers waking gaze penetrate the back of your fur.

As your paws reach the end of the nursery you hear your mother who apparently awoke during your interactions with the two kits.
