Esther walked into the hall at lunch, her eyes scanning for Ona and Malcolm. Since Poppy had only recently forgiven them, she felt like it would be rude if she didn't 'ask' Esther to say something to them. So ever so nervously, the shy Hufflepuff approached the Slytherin table.

"Ona? Malcolm?" Both of them shot her smug, sour looks. If only they knew they were speaking to Poppy.

"What the fuck do you want?" Ona spat, Esther tried not to get sassy with her though, as that would be something Poppy would do not her.

"Poppy's going away for a while, she wanted to me to tell you that if you need to contact her speak to me as I'm the only one who knows where she's gone." Esther sighed, she was already looking forward to walking away.

"Why would she tell you?" Ona spoke in disgust, this just made Esther roll her eyes.

"Because we're friends, and maybe if you had spent more time finding out about her then you would know that." Esther smiled, then strutted away back to the Hufflepuff table.

Esther went and sat with Mia, since Cedric was probably still on that bench by the lake wondering why she had randomly disappeared. "Hey." Esther smiled, she hadn't talked to Mia in days.

"Why the fuck were you talking to Ona Goyle and Malcolm Crabbe?" Mia spoke those names with fear, they were the bitter Slytherins that enjoyed picking on shy Hufflepuffs like Mia.

"Poppy wanted me to tell them something." I muttered, I knew how Mia despised Poppy too.

"Poppy Azalea? Why the fuck are you friends with that bitch?" Mia sounded as disgusted as the Slytherins had been a minute ago, and Esther was about to defend Poppy until somebody else decided to for her.

"Because Poppy's an amazingly kind, considerate, funny and caring person, unlike you obviously." Then Cedric sat down in between Mia and Esther, with his back facing directly towards Mia. Mia had not taken this well, the guy she had declared the love of her life had just shut her down for shaming Poppy Azalea. Esther tried not to smile, as she knew Mia was being out of order, especially when she didn't even know Poppy that well.

"You definitely did surprise me." Cedric laughed, running his hands through his hair as he spoke to Esther.

"You asked for it." Esther winked, taking a bite out of a sandwich she took from a plate on the table. Cedric reached for one too.

"When will you hear from Poppy next?" Cedric asked, between bites of his sandwich.

"I'm going to write to her at the end of the week probably, or sooner if there's anything major I need to tell her.".

Cedric smiled lightly, paused for a moment, then said "Is it alright if I write a letter to her, then give to you to send off with yours?" .

"Of course, just give it to me when you're done." Esther smiled and Cedric did too, then he stood up.

"I should go and sit with the guys, I haven't seen them all day." Then Cedric wandered off, turning around and smiling at Esther whenever he could.

Esther waited for everyone to eat, since she had another free period next as well. Soon, the hall was empty, and Esther was lost deep in thought.

"Poppy?" Said a voice from behind Esther, and since she was so deep in thought she had forgot who she even was at that time. So she turned around, only to see the warm comforting smile of Albus Dumbledore. "I knew it.".

Professor Dumbledore sat in his office with Esther, pacing back and forth for a moment looking between books and belongings, he softly hummed a tune of some sort while he did this. Eventually, he returned to the seat, sliding his glasses down onto his nose.
