Chapter 18: A Change In Things

Two days had passed since the last time you saw Yongguk. Today he and B.A.P would be coming to school for another lesson in English with you. You were preparing for the lecture, writing on the board words and important phrases they could use for their next concert.

The CEO of TS Entertainment had handed you a project for the boys to work with.

As you were preparing the things, your thoughts wandered around. You had been texting together with Yongguk for the past two days. And he couldn't come to visit you due to his busy schedule and practice. You took a deep breath.

Has he told the members about us?.. No probably not.. Or did he? Hmm.. I guess I will see today, when he comes you thought

You received a text from Yongguk.

"We are there in five minutes" you read.

Suddenly, you looked up panicked and ran towards the mirror. You fixed your hair and shirt and went back to writing on the board, looking as normal and composed as you were before you and Yongguk confessed.

"Oh noona, how are you doing?"

Zelo asked, walking in the room with the rest of the boys behind him.

"Fine and how have you guys been?"

"Well. There's just a lot of practice lately due to the preparation for the upcoming concert" Youngjae spoke on behalf of the members.

The guys fell down on their chairs restless. They looked pretty tired and you felt sad seeing them in this condition.

Your eyes met Yongguk's, and he gave you a knowing smile. Your cheeks turned slightly red.

"You guys look so tired, so let's take it easy today" you said.

"Ah, _____-ah you're the best!" Daehyun said.

Two hours passed working with the project and it was yet time for another break. Yongguk finally came up to you and stood beside you.

"I've missed you" he whispered.

Your heart skipped a beat. "Yongguk-shi, the guys are here."

Yongguk sighed. "Come with me out for a moment".

The both of you stood on the rooftop, breathing in fresh air. Yongguk was beside you.

"How have you been these past two days" he asked looking into your eyes.

"I should be asking you.. You didn't look like this, the last time I saw you. Yongguk-shi, please remember to rest"

You looked down on the ground worried. His hands were suddenly around your waist. You looked at him startled and he pulled you in.

"Don't worry about me" he caressed your cheek.

"How can I not Yongguk-ssi. Your eyes are so.. red".

"It's because I practiced till late morning"

You hugged him tightly.

"I get it, you're a perfectionist, but remember to rest"

"Alright, ____-ah".

"Yongguk-ah? Where are you.. Yongguk?"

You heard Himchan's voice coming from the entrance door. You quickly pulled away from Yongguk. Seeing how he also pulled away, you knew the members didn't know about the two of you.

Himchan found the both of you and came hurrying up to you.

"Channie, what's the matter?" Yongguk asked him.

"It's Kang hyung, he says we have to return back to work. He has something to tell about our concert schedule"

"Ok, I'll be there. You guys leave ahead."

Himchan went off and Yongguk turned to look at you.

"Sorry, but I guess I have to leave now. We aren't interrupting your class, are we?" he asked with a hint of worry.

"No, we were almost done anyways. Leave. It seems to be something important. Have a safe trip on your way."

Yongguk came closer to you. He cupped your face gently and gave you a kiss on your forehead before leaving.

Next day

"Hyung! What are you doing? Place your IPad away. ____-ah noona is working." Zelo scolded Youngjae.

Youngjae placed his IPad away and looked towards Zelo.

"Aish! I'm just updating for our Babyz. I'm letting them know that we are preparing for Live on Earth Tour" Youngjae replied back to his younger member.

You handed out small English dictionary books for the members. Some of them opened the books and read out random English words.

"Oh, you guys are already practicing?" you asked them while laughing.

"Yes teacher" they said in chorus.

You shook your head laughing and went over to Yongguk. Instead of just placing the book on his table, you reached it out for him. He knew your intention and chuckled.

He took the book out of your hand slowly in a way that made sure he touched your hands. Your heart fluttered and you looked at his hands and smiled. You missed his touch.

"You even prepared this for us." Yongguk spoke and you looked back up at him.

"Of course, my students have to be well prepared. I have your CEO looking over my back. I cannot disappoint him either." you said proudly and Yongguk smiled at you.

"Waaah, no surprise. We got the best teacher." Himchan said.

Suddenly a phone rang and you looked around and checked yours. It wasn't yours. Then you saw Yongguk taking his phone out.

"It's manager hyung, I'll take this call quickly" he said and you nodded.

You observed Yongguk's expression as he spoke on the phone, and it changed from serious to calm. Shortly after he hung up, the members waited for his answer.

"This call was actually about you _____-ah" Yongguk said.

"What do you mean Yongguk-ssi?" you asked puzzled.

There was a short break of silence, your heart started beating fast and the members looked curious too.

"Hyung, what is it about _____noona?" Jongup asked.

"The CEO has asked for you to come with us on our concert to America. He says we will be needing your help.. You will come right?"

You looked startled at him and the members got all excited. You didn't expect this at all, you were just helping them a bit. Yongguk got tensed since you didn't reply him.

"The CEO says he will double up your salary" Yongguk said.

You couldn't really read his face, whether he wanted you to go or not. Deep inside you, you wanted to go so badly. It would be the most memorable trip of your life even if it was just for work.

"Noona???" Zelo asked you.

"Hyung, you want _____-ah to come right? she's the best teacher we have had and besides we get along so well" Daehyun said.

"Of course, Yonggukie wants _____-ssi to come with us." Himchan answered on behalf of Yongguk.

But you looked at Yongguk, as his answer weighed the most.

And then he smiled so brightly that your heart skipped a beat.

"She has to come! You will come ____-ah" Yongguk just made your decision on your behalf.

You couldn't hide your joy and said yes to them, while having eye contact to Yongguk, and he winked at you teasingly.

You wondered how it would be to work with them overseas. You would be out with B.A.P and Yongguk. You had to get things ready for the work trip.
