Hello my name is Dove, i am 16 years old and I play guitar. I live in Canada and I go to Pickering High school, I've kinda always had this crush on this guy, this guy as in my neighbour whom's window just happen's to be across from mine, I see him play his guitar almost everyday. Sometimes he even looks through his window into my window, I spend a lot of time studying at my desk which is placed so if I look straight ahead I look out my window, but yeah sometimes he looks over at me and even smile I just quickly look away because I blush every time he smiles at me through his window.
First day of school after the summer break. It's always such a bummer to start in school again. I do miss my friends I haven't seen them all summer, well apart from my best friend, Meghan or Meg as I call her, I saw her once over the past 6 weeks so I am definitely ready to hear what she's been doing this break. Another good thing is that I get to watch Shawn practice, oh yeah Shawn is the my neighbour, but anyway I get to see him practice as me and Luna are on the cheerleading team and Shawn is on the Football team.
As I arrive to school I instantly see Meghan waiting for me at the doors, I see that she died her hair blue again so it's very catchy to the eye I absolutely love it. As I start to get near the doors Meghan runs to me and hugs me like we haven't seen each other for a year, but honestly I love being hugged by someone especially when its them wanting to hug me and not me wanting to hug them. As we walk to our first class I see Shawn walk in the same class as me and my heart skipped a beat, Our first class is english after that we have literature and after that lunch and then I have a free period and then I have one last class which is cheerleading so honestly a really nice day to start of on.
After english
"OMG Dove" I hear as I leave the classroom "Dove YOU BETTER TURN AROUND RIGHT NOW" I heard Meghan say I knew she must really need me to turn around since she sounded so serious. "Yes Meg?" "OMG Dove, Shawn was totally looking at you throughout this whole class!" "I doubt it he's probably just tired and dozed off" Meghan knew just how big of a crush I had on Shawn, as far as I know Shawn doesn't actually have a girlfriend but he could have any girl on the school if he wanted to.
After literature and Lunch I had my free period, I usually stay out on the big grass field our school has, almost no one is out here in their free period. *New message from Meghan* "Dove Shawn just asked me where you are I hope it's alright that I told him where you are! good luck" Uhm what do I do? Why is he lo--- "Dove?" I hear Shawn call. "yes?" As Shawn reach the spot on the field that I am sitting at he looks sweaty it is really hot out. "Dove I have been looking everywhere for you. What are you even doing out here?" I am just relaxing It's my free period, why are you looking for me?" "uhm..." He seemed nervous. "I have been thinking this holiday, I really like you Dove, I like when you study and get nervous when I smile at you through our windows, I like that you care so much about school and most of all you are really beautiful and kind, will you maybe, only if you want go on a date with me this Saturday??" "Uhm, yes! I will go on a date with you, what time?" As the words left my mouth he let out a little gasp as if he was nervous I was going to say no or something. "Pick you up at 3'o'clock?" "Okay sounds good"
