Chapter 4

Said "I am picking you up tomorrow morning, beautiful"

Shawn arrived in the morning to pick me up and drive to school. Shawn was the popular jock. He was the guy every girl wanted to be with and every guy want to be. So what did he need me for? He could have chosen any girl in school.

As Shawn was walking me to class he said "Dove I have something I need to tell you. I only did --" "Dove get your beautiful ass over here and tell me everything" Shawn was cut off by my best friend yelling for me "I have to go. Tell me later?" I asked as I walked away "I guess" I heard him say
So I told her everything, well apart from the fact that I am his fake girlfriend. I just said he asked me to be his girlfriend, everybody will need to think we are actually together not even my best friend can know.
As the day came to an end and I exited my last period which was music theory I saw Shawn standing outside the class waiting for me. "Hey beautiful, what's up?" He asked as he put his arm around my shoulder "Umm not much, but you need to tell me what you wanted to tell me earlier" I said moving my face so close to his that our lips almost touched. "Not so fast hot stuff" I said as I pulled away from Shawn who was now trying to kiss me "Why not?" I leaned in close to his ear and said "because I am your fake girlfriend, and maybe if you tell me what you wanted to tell me earlier I will think about letting you kiss me" The last was said with a smirk in my lips. Yes for the love of god would I like to kiss him. But what's the point if he's just trying to get into my pants and then just dumps me and everything we did it did not have? "C'mon. Let's go someplace. My backyard? I have chips and Cola?" Damn he was good. "Ugh fine. But then you better tell me what you wanted to tell me earlier"
As we reached his house he said "go in and dump your bag pack and then come meet me here in... 10 min" I did as Shawn said and went back to where we agreed to meet. But there was no sign of Shawn. Where the heck was he? Was he to popular to even meet me on time?
Just as I'm about to leave I see Shawn come running toward me "Sorry. It took longer than I meant for it to take. Come with me?" He said and held out his hand for me to take "Don't make this a habit" I said taking his hand "It will be worth it. Trust me" he said
As we reached the back corner of his garden I saw a picnic blanket laying on the grass, under a big oak tree with a swing hanging from it and a little tray with chips and soda. The best part is that it's out of sight from the rest of the garden.
"So... you like it?" Asked Shawn with hopeful eyes "It's beautiful. But why do all this?" I asked as we sat down on the blanket "Because I actually like you. Maybe if you want to we could have a real relationship? Like be boyfriend girlfriend for real?" Shawn asked "Shawn why would you want me to be your girlfriend. You don't like me. You just want it to be more real? Don't you?" I asked with tears in my eyes "Listen Dove. You are the prettiest girl I have laid eyes on in a long time. You are so sweet even when I asked you to be my fake girlfriend you were still nice enough to not slap me or tell at me. You wanted to help me. I love that. And on top of that I found out that I am actually ready to have a real girlfriend. The real reason why I asked you to be my fake girlfriend was because I was afraid, afraid of commitment. But with you. I feel like I can actually commit. So... Will you be my real girlfriend?" I was dumbstruck no one had ever said something so nice to me before so I said "Yes Shawn I will. But if you ever hurt me don't expect me to forgive you or ever talk to me again, got it?" I don't think he would but my last relationship didn't end well turns out he cheated on me out whole relationship. Yay me.

I know it's soon that they are together. But i have a plan with this. So stay tuned
