" we need to go see my mom"
"But y/n I need to ask you something" I turn to Carl and my eyes widen and I say "yes"
" will you go out with me .... I like you"  I smile and I say "yes " then my phone goes off I pick it " hello is this y/n we found it under the last person texted on the phone of a women we have here" I look at Carl and say " yes I am can I ask what this is about"
" there was a shooting tonight and the women did not make it she came in half alive... we would like you to come fill stuff out"
Tears started going down my face and I dropped the phone and I follow close behind Carl runs to me and wraps me in his arms " what happened what's going on"
" they ... they could not save her she's dead SHES DEAD ...SHE WILL NEVER COME HOME"
Tears came down my face " well what are you going to do"
"I ... I don't know "
" live with me " I got up and walked up stares he fallowed close behind I walked in her room and took a shirt out of her closet and took mine off and put hers on and got in the bed Carl came in the bed after me and I can feel my self going loser to her then he said " I don't know if it is ok with you but I love you " I begin to cry again " can you promise me something... never leave me"
"I never could"
"Then I love you to Carl"
Then I drift off to sleep.

I woke up to the front door opening I turned to see Carl still sleeping I got out of bed and walked down stares to peek my head out and I saw my dad
"Y/n long time no see"
I came out "what are you doing here"
"You can't live by your self you 16 so you will come back with me to Texas"
I can here Carl say "fuck off she's staying here with me"
" she is my daughter and she will come back with me tomorrow now you need to leave"
"Fuck off im not leaving"
I look at Carl " please go I can handle this" he sighs and leaves " get the fuck out my house"
He gave me a funny look and slapped me and I fell to the floor " all ready back to your old ways dad"
"Get the fuck up you baby"
"Fuck off dad"
He pushes me to the ground a hit me in the eye I push I'm off and run to Carl's house I walk to Carl's room and open the door he's looking out the window " can't stand to be five min...." he cuts him self off and sees my eye " what the hell happened"
"Can I stay the night please" he comes up and puts his hand on my face " I love you " I can't help my self I kiss his lips and we go to sleep.
