Chapter 5

"Uh hi." I said as I walked up to them. "I'm Toby." I smiled a little.

"Hi Toby!" The blonde girl smiled. She wore glasses and she had freckles splattered across her cheeks. "I'm Jaquline, but you can call me Jackie." When she smiled her blue-green eyes crinkled and her dimples showed. Jackie's hair was pulled into a wavy pony tail with the bangs hanging over her face. Every so often she would blow them out of her face. Her hair was almost beach blonde but her roots were brown and so were her eye brows.

"Hi." I said quietly.

"Oh and I'm Kimi." The other girl said Her black hair was cut in a bob. Her eyes were a dark brown. I think she was Asian.

The guy was wearing a pink scarf and a black turtle neck. "OMG! Haaaay!!! I'm Ase! It is amazing to meet you!! Where did you get that shirt? It's totes amazeballs!!!" he had a lisp and was gesturing wildly.

Jackie leaned in a whispered to me. "He's gay." I snickered and whispered back.

"I can tell." She smiled.

I sat down in between Ase and Jackie and Kimi sat next to Ase who was trying to braid her hair. She just rolled her eyes and ignored him.

"So, what school were you at last year?" She popped some tic-tacs in her mouth.

"I was home schooled."

"Ohmigawd!! How was it? I wish I was home schooled!!" Yelled Ase who was given a look by Kimi. "Well if you guys could go!!" We all laughed.

I was confused when everyone was singing because I didn't have the music. I tried to fake through it until class ended. When it did I gathered up my stuff and went to my locker.

I grabbed my backpack and started shoving my shit in there when I felt some one dig their fingers into my side. I screamed and dropped my stuff. When I spun around Josh was smiling sheepishly. I gave him a noogie in return.

"Hey are you busy today?" he asked.

"No, why?"

"Well I was just wondering I you wanted to hang out."

"Uh yeah I'll ask my mom then I'll call you."

"Here's my number." He scribbled a number on my wrist.

I slammed my locker and said goodbye to Josh and made my way to my car.
