"Caitlin! Caitlin" I can hear my name being called, but it's not coming from Ethan. Where is it coming from? "Cat! Cat!" I jump out of my sleep to find my brother Matthew yelling my name. Trying to wake me up. My head starts spinning and I feel the sweat dripping from my temple. "Matt?" I say. I grab him and pull him close thanking god it was only a dream. "Cat? Are you okay?" "Yeah. I'm fine." "I didn't know what to do, you were yelling, and screaming Ethan's name. Why were you screaming Ethan's name? What were you dreaming about?" I didn't know how to respond. I gave a blank expression. "Uh...um..it was just a car crash." "A car crash? Why would you dream about that? Is this about dad?" "Yes..." I lie. "Oh Cat, I miss him too. The last time you did something like this you were only 7. After he died." My head drops remembering the death of my father. He was always traveling, and living life on the dangerous side because of his cancer. After his diagnosis he just picked up every thing and left. We video chatted everyday before bed, but I missed him. I didn't even get to see him, or say goodbye before he died. It really got to me when I got the call. He was in Tokyo at the time, and he collided into another car. His car had burst into flames almost immediately after the crash. There was no saving him.

"Hey." He said ever so softly. "Come here." He pulls me close and hugs me. "It's okay." He says. I feel bad lying to him, but for now I think it's the best. I pull away from him. "Can I ask you something?" "Sure." "Have you spoken to Ethan since he left?" "Uh...no, why?" "Just asking." "Okay? Well have you?" "Yeah, no I haven't either." I lie again. "Well how come?" He asks. I honestly don't know how to respond. I can't tell him we broke up. "I don't know." "Well where's your phone? Let's call him up!" He reaches for my phone, and picks it up. "Hmmm. Guess like it died. That's a first. Your phone is always charged." Thank god! I say to myself. "Yeah I guess I forgot to charge it." I check the time on the wall clock that's hanging in my room. It reads 5:50. "Hey don't you have to get ready for work soon? It's 5:50." "Oh yeah, thanks for reminding me. We can just call Ethan a different day." "Yeah, a different day!" I try to say with enthusiasm. "Well Connor is downstairs if you need anything. I'm going to go get ready to leave." He says as he gets up from my bed and walks towards the door. "Okay." "Bye Cat." "Bye Matt."
