A Different Kind of Twilight [DISCONTINUED]

Chapter 7

Looking across the field, I can hear the army about 3 miles away. The Cullen's and wolves are behind me, as we all are downwind of the army. Jane, Felix and Rosalie are tree jumping, trying to get the best view of the battle while staying hidden and downwind. 10 seconds later the army bursts through the trees and comes to an abrupt halt seeing only me in the field. Edwards mate stands in the middle. She glares at me before speaking.

"If I had known that it would only be you, I would not have built an army. You, a human girl are no match for a vampire." She sneers at me.

"You will do well to not underestimate me. For I am no human. You are aware of the Voltori correct?"

"Of course I am. Who does not know of the Voltori in the vampire world. What I want to know is who you are to speak of such things."

"I am Queen Isabella Voltori, mate to Jane Voltori and Rosalie Cullen."

"And I am Victoria Cullen, mate to Edward Cullen." 

"I assumed. Well Victoria Cullen, I hereby sentence you to death for exposing vampire kind, creating a newborn army, and threatening a queen of the Voltori."

She growls and my declaration and comes running at me, the army following her lead. I scoff and allow my flames to consume the army, except her. The only one's left standing are those that were forced to be apart of this and want to run. I trap them in a circle of fire to deal with later and stare down at Victoria. "You thought that you wouldn't need your army. Let's see if you're right considering they are now ash behind you." She whirls around to see that I am correct and she is all alone now.

"What did you do?" She hisses at me.

"I used my gift per say. I burned them all in an instant with fire. I have command over fire and heat. However I will not use my gift on you. I want to see if you are as good as you boast to be." I motion for her to attack me and get into a fighting stance. I can hear Jane and Rosalie growling softly, but I block them out to focus on the fight at hand. Victoria roars in anger and charges at me. I wait until she is close enough to me that I spin out of the way, too fast for her vampire instincts to kick in and dodge, and grab her head pulling it off and incinerating it in my hands before doing the same to the rest of her body. "Well, I was hoping for more of a fight." I sigh disappointedly before turning to the vampires that were spared of my fire. "Jane, come here." I state in a soft tone, knowing she'll hear me and in an instant she is at my side. 

"Yes master." She says respectfully knowing this is official Voltori business and not wanting to allow our emotions cloud our judgment. 

"I want you to question these vampires. Find out if they are worthy of a second chance." 

"Yes master." She bows her head respectfully before going about her task. Any vampires that she deemed unworthy were incinerated on spot. Out of the 5 spared the fire, only one was deemed worthy enough of a second chance. 

"Cullen's, you will help this girl. Teach her everything she needs to know about vampire life and help her. If I hear of a single death in this area from her, it will be all of your responsibilities. I am returning to Voltorra now. Do not force me to return." I say with a serious glare on my face, before turning to my mates and Felix. "Felix, please return to the jet and get it prepped." He bows and takes off into the woods.

"You're leaving?" Rosalie speaks softly. 

"Yes I am, but if you wish to come with me, you are welcome to." At this statement she nods profusely before taking of back to her home to pack for the trip. Jane and I both let out a light laugh before following her. "Do you have a car we can take to the jet as you have luggage coming with you?" 

"Yes, I do. I hope you don't mind if I drive." She says with a wistful look in her eyes. 

"No of course not. Are you ready?" She nods and we pack up her car. She says goodbye to her family and we are off to the jet. Arriving at the jet, we find it ready for departure, thanks to Felix using his vampire speed to get everything done. I help load Rosalie's luggage in the plane and head in to where the couches are. The girls join me, cuddling into either side of my body, both purring softly. Felix announces that we are ready to leave and we take off back to my home, this time with my mates.

A/N: Another chapter for you all. Sorry it is kinda a filler chapter. In the next few I should be getting more into the relationship between the three of them. Should I bring some more drama by having a guard member like one of the girls. Let me know. As always, thanks for reading and enjoy. See you all next week.
