"Hello there, the angel from my nightmare, the shadow in the background of the morgue, the unsuspecting victim, of darkness in the valley we can live like Jack and Sally if we want, where you can always find me, and we'll have Halloween on Christmas and in the night we'll wish this never ends, we'll wish this never ends..." the words blasted through my headphones as I was walking home from the gas station. I saw no reason to drive when it was only a thirty minute walk one way, leading to an hour outside walking total.
It doesn't bother me; I actually prefer to walk, over driving. It gives me more time to clear the brain. I didn't exactly have a lot to think about, but at the same time I had everything to think about. The world, the universe, the future, and anything that comes across. The mind's a magical thing like that; wild and impossible to tame. I love it, it's absolutely beautiful.
I took my favorite short cut home; the trees hid the path, and it makes it feel like you're walking through a forest. I didn't realize that that made it a perfect place for attack. That's how naïve I am, at least I was... that is, until the four men who changed my life crossed my path.
"Hey pretty lady, what're you doing out here in this weather, at this time of night?" It was slightly drizzling, and maybe ten in the evening.
"I think it's beautiful weather, and that really is none of your concern now, is it gentlemen?" I may be small, but I sure as hell have a smart mouth.
"That's no way to talk to a man now, is it?" I scoffed at the new mans ignorant statement.
"A man? I do apologize, but this is the era of equality. I suggest you get that through your thick skull, before it gets you hurt sir." I, of course, was bluffing. I had no capability to fight them.
"That's a lot of big talk from a small cunt." The third man growled this. It took my breath away for a moment, I'll admit. Yet, I still held the scowl upon my powder white face.
"I may be small, and I do own to my own cuntiness, however, I see no room for you to talk. Seeing as it takes all of your energy to keep your brain working in the slightest bit. Now, if you gentle men will excuse me, I will be on my way." I began to storm through, only a hand grasped me from behind. Leaving a firm grip on my neck.
I struggled for breath, and for my footing. The man before wasn't kidding when he said I was small. Compared to them you could say I was like a bug. I measure to be four feet and eleven inches tall. I am a legitimate midget, while they all stand at about six feet tall.
My panic was beginning to set, and I moved around frantically; attempting to break the hold that the man had on me. I assume that the fourth man, went behind me while I argued with the other three. I tried to hit him with my elbows, remembering the lessons my dad gave me when I was a kid.

Use your elbows Jade! Your elbows!
I tried and tried, but I never seemed to hit his body. Finally, I gave in and fell limp, my consciousness barely holding on. I refused to pass out, so I took the deepest breaths I could while his hand was wrapped around my throat. The lack of oxygen causing a burning sensation, but I refused to give in.
I couldn't think straight, only feel. I almost wish that I let myself give into the oblivion of sleep, for what happened next, I will never be able to wash away from my skin.
I felt my body collide with the concreate, ringing filling my ears. I felt scratching and burning, and soon I felt a cold breeze on my abdomen, sending me into a frenzy. I kicked, screamed and cried, only to be silenced my a fist colliding with my cheek. Tears streamed down my face as I still tried to push the men off.
