-Jades POV-

I felt frozen in my open door frame. The filthy sounds of a man and a woman moaning filled my ears. Finally I felt my limbs come unglued. I began to walk to the room my boyfriend and I share. Everything felt like it was in slow motion. The squeaking of the bed was growing louder; the moans more frequent. My heart beat was causing blood to pulse in my ears.

In front of my door at last I placed my hand upon the oval knob and twisted it right. Pushing the door forward I confirmed my fears. Atop my boyfriend, laid the woman I disdained at one point of my life. The one who had tormented me thoroughly throughout my high school life. The couple froze and stared at me wide eyed, while all I could do was sit and let the tears fall.

Eventually I got the strength to move from my solid state and ran down the stairs. I stumbled a bit at the bottom due to the footsteps I heard behind me. I grabbed my keys off the counter and flew out the door. Running towards the same path that I had previously traveled down just five minutes ago. I slowed down to regain my footing, getting ready to sprint away to God knows where to hide from this awful night. I was almost out of the yard when I felt a hand grasp my wrist. I yanked and pulled to no avail. Finally I screamed for the millionth time tonight.

"What do you want?!" I could feel the scream ripping my vocal chords due to the harshness, but in this moment I could honestly care no less.

"Give me a chance Jade; it isn't what you think!" I turned around and looked at him in disbelief.

"It isn't what I think?! So I didn't see a slut fucking you in our  bedroom?! I didn't hear you moaning her name and her begging you to fuck her?!" He was silent with this look of guilt painted on his face. "That's what I thought Liam. Don't worry I won't be here much longer to burden you, and you can have all the pussy you want. I'll be back in the morning to get my shit and my car." I felt my pockets to make sure my wallet and my keys were still there, to which they were. "Bye Liam."

"Baby please don't do this." I ignored his pleads and walked back down that horrid path. This path held more pain for me from this night alone, than any other place.

I placed the headphones I still had on my phone, placing one in each ear. I searched through my music looking for the one song that described my feelings more than anything right now, placing the music on full blast I continued on my way.

"Then I lost it all; dead and broken my, backs against the wall. Cut me open I'm just tryin' to breath just tryin' to figure it out because I built these walls to watch 'em crumblin' down I said, cause I lost it all, and who can save me now?"

Tears were streaming down my face blending with the raindrops from the now downpour. I could feel the tremors traveling throughout my body; chilling me down to my bone. I couldn't go any further and I just collapsed. I was back to where all these awful things started. This damned part of the trail.

I just sat there on the ground sobbing away all the pain and the agony of this evening. My voice was blending in with the thunder shaking the sky. I was so lost in my own world, that I didn't even notice the footsteps behind me until I felt an arm on my shoulder. My first reaction was to pull away. I began to get ready to run again, but my knees gave beneath me. Betraying my wishes of getting away from whoever it was. I just curled up, seeing as I don't think I could physically do anything else. I sobbed out "go away" several times and yet that hand that was on my shoulder remained there. Another hand being placed on my other shoulder.

Finally, I shed the last of my tears. I wiped away at my soaking faced; pulling my drenched hair out of my line of sight, seeing that it was those two guys from earlier who had found me again. I think their names were Chris and Ricky. I attempted to get up yet again and used the two for support. I was drained, I was bruised, and now that all the adrenaline and heartache is out of my system, I'm beyond exhausted and in immense pain.

"Hey guys, we really need to stop meeting like this." I took a long pause staring at the ground like it was the most important thing ever.

"What happened?" Chris, I think, asked. I shrugged in a short response.

"Your name is Jade right? Why don't you come back to our house with us." The other one, Ricky I think, asked and I didn't have any energy to argue so I just agreed.

"How did you guys find me again? Like once was luck, but twice?" I already had an idea but I wanted them to solidify it.

"Well, we were walking away from your house when we heard yelling. For a second we just stopped waiting to see what it was only to see you run out of the house moments later, shouting at some guy. You looked upset and angry so we gave you space thinking we should ignore it, but then we thought about the events from earlier and came running." I just smiled emptily at Ricky.

"Yeah, life is funny this way. . ." With that we walked to their house seeing that it was surprisingly close. Life brings you to people in a weird way, and this definitely beats the rest.

1001 words go me! It's been awhile, and I'm very sorry. I've just been super busy with school and work and trying to get into a program for hairstyling. However, I'm here now and so is a new chapter! I love you guys and just know you can always talk to me if you are ever feeling down or anything, I am here. Be safe and stay strong <3
