Dear Diary,

Hello, my name is Anna Winchester, I'm 17 years old and I live in Rochester New York, I was born in London, England. My parents decided to move for a change of scenery when I was 10, when I was 11 I got my acceptance letter from Ilvermorny the American school of witchcraft and wizardry. I was sorted into the thunderbird house which is considered the heart of houses. Anyway, today were moving back to London and I'm so excited! Especially since I get to go to a different school.. Hogwarts, I'm a little nervous as well being a 7th year and having to be sorted in front of everyone again is a little nerve-racking but I'm sure I can manage! Well my mum is calling me! "Anna!! Hurry up!! The plane is going to leave in two hours!!" Anna's mother called out she was a ravenclaw over at Hogwarts so if she's not somewhere 4 hours early she'll have a tizzy fit, Anna was almost finished packing and she left her bags on the porch when she almost forgot Anushka, her black cat. "Anya? Anushka! Where are you silly cat?" She said as she heard a soft meow under her bed she kneeled down to see her laying there being as lazy as always. "There you are, come here we're going to miss our plane" She says as she pulls her out from under the bed she wasn't like most cats where they'd claw and scratch you or tear things up she was well behaved very lazy though. She put her in the travel cage and gathered the rest of her things. She walked out to the car, her parents wanted to try to blend in with the muggles or no-majs' there in America but things got hard especially with their neighbors who found them the very suspicious, Anna kept thinking it was a bad idea to travel by plane.. surrounded by muggles and maybe, just maybe a few witches or wizards.

They got to the airport just in time to get on the plane she was lucky and got a window seat her parents sat next to her 30 minutes later the they heard an announcement saying "we're preparing for take off " she had brought a few things with her to entertain herself while they flew because it was going to be a long trip..
