An Unexpected Crush Part 3: Getting sorted

Anna had fallen asleep, she forgot Draco was in the compartment with her and after she finished reading her book her mind was still stuck in the fantasy world she forgot. She had her head leaned against the window dreaming about the character in her book.(same)

{Draco's POV}

'She looked so peaceful.. how can someone be so- no Draco snap out of it' Draco thought to himself he shook his head as he realized he'd been staring at her the whole time. He held his hands and leaned onto his knees he had gotten quite bored just sitting there he kind of hoped Anna would wake up soon so they could get to each other more.

{Anna's POV}

As if Anna knew Draco's wish she started to wake up {god I'm so cheesy} As she opened her eyes she saw Draco looking out the window and she turned into a tomato "... uh.. s-sorry for falling asleep..." She said feeling super embarrassed (same)

"Um... so, my parents haven't informed me a lot about the houses.. could you-"

"The houses are, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw... and.. Gryffindoor.." Draco said quickly but the last house she could tell he despised(uh oh).

"Oh.. w-what house are you in Draco?"

"Slytherin" He says sitting up straight with a confident look on his face (same Draco, #SlytgerinPride). "What house do you think you'll be in?"

"I.. I uh I don't know.. which house would you think I'll be in?"

"I dunno... I haven't gotten to know you well enough"

Right as Draco said that a voice could be heard 'WE WILL NOW BE ARRIVING IN FIVE MINUTES PLEASE GET INTO YOUR ROBES AND LEAVE YOU THINGS THEY WILL BE TAKEN TO YOUR ROOMS'.

"Well better get going eh?" Anna said with an awkward smile while she got her robes.

"Yeah.." he said leaning back on the seat and watching Anna as she left the compartment, he sighed and closed his eyes.

Anna returned to find a sleeping Draco she smiled at how peaceful he looked, although Anna would've loved to look at him all day she didn't want him to be late. "Draco? Draco wake up.." she says gently shaking his shoulder.

He groaned and shook his head but he soon opened his eyes and saw Anna.

"Um.. s-sorry to wake you but uh y-you should really go get changed now.."

Draco gave Anna a half smile still a little tired he got up grabbed his robes and before he left he patted her shoulder and looked her in the eyes "Thanks for waking me up.."

Anna felt the butterflies from before again and she nodded her head "Your welcome.."( What can she say except You're welcome!!) she sits down and stares out the window.

Draco returns and he knocks on the door to get Anna's attention "Come on.." He says, Anna gets up and follows him outside he points to where the first years are and he tells her what professor Mcgonogal tells the first years on the staircase. "Stick with me okay?" Draco says putting his arm around her shoulders and he guides her to the little boats 'luckily' they weren't with the golden trio. The boats get to the docks and Anna looked at the school in amazement it seemed more magical than Ilvermorny.

{Draco's POV}

Draco looked at her and a small smile appeared on his face but as he realized he was staring at her again he shook his head and pulled her by the sleeve to the first years "Come on.."

"O-okay..." she said, she always seemed scared. 'Do I scare her?' He thought as he brought her to the line of first years "I can't stay here I need to go to my house table but I'll see you soon.." he said before leaving her with a bunch of 11 year olds.

{Anna's POV}

She stood there very nervously she  felt the eyes of the children looking at her, she felt her hands become clammy it was getting harder for her to breathe she was so nervous. She saw a woman in dark green stand at the top of the steps, she said the same things Draco did. 'Why did he tell me this when I would hear it already?' She thought, but her train of thought was cut off when the doors opened to what seemed like the main hall as she got in she looked around in awe she soon made eye contact with Malfoy she smiled and waved at him, he looked at the people beside him then he quickly waved back not really smiling back but she didn't mind.

Professor Mcgonogal started calling out names, and soon for what felt like forever she called out "Winchester, Anna. Now Anna here is a seventh year but she transferred from Ilvermorny.. and I expect you all to be respectful to her and make her feel welcome.. Anna come up and sit on the stool.." she commands. Anna obeys and goes up to the front of the room and sits on the stool, Professor Mcgonogal places the sorting hat on Anna's head.

Sorting hat: "hmm a Winchester.. it's been a while since I've sorted a Winchester... a mixed family.. difficult.. very difficult.."

"Is my mind that hectic?" Anna asked looking up.

Sorting hat: "No of course not!! I know exactly where to put you! And that is.. in Gryffindoor!!"

{Draco's POV}
At this point Draco felt somewhat relieved, but at the same time he felt his heart drop these mixed emotions flowed through his mind he didn't know exactly how to react. Now he has a reason to not like her, she's a Gryffindoor and he's a Slytherin it wouldn't work.

{Anna's POV}

Anna smiled seeing the Weasley's cheering that she was a Gryffindoor the other Gryffindoors clapped welcoming their newest member, Anna walked over to the table and sat next to Ginny and George as she sat down she looked over at Draco but her smile disappeared seeing as he looked sad..? Or maybe angry.. this was someone she DEFINITELY wanted to get to know..

So.. it's longer but it doesn't have the greatest ending in the world but I'm getting better!!! Soon I'll be like my senpai!! Speaking of her I want to give a special shoutout to my senpai Ashley!! Ashley senpai has helped me with this although I haven't spoiled all my plans she just helped when my brain felt like poo.. so anyway I hope you enjoyed this chapter!! Bye!!
