An Unexpected Crush Part 4: Friends?

Dear diary,

Hello! It's me again, I haven't written to you in a while.. a few days.. weeks? I lost count.. being a transfer seventh year makes this hard, with schoolwork that is especially since almost everything is completely different from Ilvermorny but oh well!! Today I'm planning on talking to Draco a handsome boy I met, he seemed pretty mad.. or sad that i was sorted into Gryffindoor and I've had the subject on my mind for quite a while so I think I might confront him about it today I'm not at all scared....

Anna put her quill down and sighed "oh who am I kidding.. I'm terrified.." Anna said to herself when she felt eyes seeping through her, she looked up to see a girl with wild curly brown hair with her arms crossed "Talking to yourself eh Anna?"

"Oh! Hermione! Uh I.. I'm just writing in my journal!"

"I can see that" Hermione giggled as she walked over to Anna sitting next to her "your still going mad over Malfoy?"

Anna's blushed slightly embarrassed Hermione was the first and only person she had spoken to about her experience with the Slytherin prince "Well I wouldn't say I'm going mad over him.."

Hermione gave her and unamused look "oh really? I've seen your little doodles missy, you're not fooling anyone"

Anna sighed "is it that obvious?"

"Do you actually like him though?"

"I'm.. I'm not sure, I mean we'll see what happens today.. but until then we... should get ready for class" she said changing the subject.

"Don't get your hopes up though... he's not exactly.. the nicest.."

"Maybe he'll surprise you!"

"I honestly doubt that I'm sorry Anna.."

Anna sighed and finished getting ready, the two girls walked down to the main hall to eat breakfast and head to class normally they'd grab enough to fill a plate then head to the library although Anna had a different plan for today. Anna got into the great hall and sat down next to the Weasley twins she filled her plate and ate while staring at the Slytherin table, the twins noticed she was staring over there and could tell she was up to something.

"I say Anna looks like a wolf preparing to pounce on its prey, don'cha think Georgie?"

"I have to agree Freddie she's definitely up to something"

"what are you two going on about?" Anna said holding in a few giggles.

"You" The twins said in unison

"What is it that your up to?" Fred said sliding close to Anna.

"And does it have to do with a Slytherin?" George sat up and sat on the other side next to Anna, she was twin trapped.

"What makes you say that?"

"Well you've been staring over at their table this whole time"

"I was? I was lost in thought I didn't know I was staring over there"

"Don't lie"

Anna grumbled and shrugged "Okay so maybe it does involve a slytherin.."

"And that is?"

"Tha-"

"Is it Draco? Or maybe Pansy or Blaise?" Fred says smirking at Anna seeing as her face turned red when he said Draco "ah so you have a thing for Malfoy eh?"

"Not so loud you arse!!" Anna yelled punching Fred's arm, she looked up and saw Draco leaving the table and walking out into the hall, without saying anything she got up and quickly followed

"Draco!" Anna called out getting his attention he turned around and saw her he scrunched his nose "What do you want Winchester?"

"What's been up with you? You were so kind when I first met you.. I thought maybe we could be friends.. I still really want to be friends with you.. but-"

He interrupted her by gently placing his finger on her lips to get her to stop talking "first of all.. your a Gryffindoor, Slytherins and Gryffindoors are arch enemies.. if people saw us together- Ah! I mean just talking or hanging out or whatever they'd get suspicious and I being a Ma-"

Now it was her turn to cut him off "well then I would act as if I hated you during the school day or when your around other Slytherins, but maybe we can work things out(High school musical song!! We will work things out dun dun dun dun!!) .. when it's just you and me or if we see each other in hogsmede or we sit by each other on the train we could act more like friends.."

{Dracos POV}

As he heard her explain how they could be friends he pulled her close "I'd like that Winchester.."

"R-really?" She said a blush spread across her shocked face

Damn she's cute... no stop it Draco you're only going to be... "Friends..?" He asked her she smiled sweetly and replied "friends.." she hugged him tightly causing a blush to spread on his pale cheeks he hugged her back and smiled he had a real friend..

So I know it's a bit short but I'm trying these will get better I promise! And guess what?! Tomorrow is my birthday! Yaaaaaay! And because I love Malfoy to pieces imma uploads a little thingy thing that has to with a daydream so it's gonna be lit fam!
