Third Person POV
Damian stood at the foot of the stairs with Soren and Xeno as they waited for Melody to get what ever it was she was getting. What she was getting, none of them knew. Damian was shifting from foot to foot anxiously as Soren and Xeno talked amongst themselves.
Damian wasn't paying any mind to their conversation as a million and one thoughts flooded through his mind,'What if I can't activate the armor like everyone hopes? What if everything is just a miss understanding and this is all just a dream? I don't even know if all of this is true. Besides, I don't even know if I CAN activate this armor..'
Meanwhile, Damian was oblivious to Soren's and Xeno's conversation.
"So wait, you guys got attacked by Hell Worms? How did you kill them?" Soren asked with a look of disbelief evident on his face.
"Well um..It's quite funny actually..So I was fighting one that had me pinned against the wall and another had Damian unconscious," Xeno started before Soren had an annoyed look on his face.
"And?" Soren said doing a small hand wave.
"Well, um..I'm not sure what happened next in all honesty. When I last looked at Damian in that cave, he was unconscious and then BAM! He was glowing somewhat before the room erupted into light. Next thing I knew after I killed the worm I was dealing with.." Xeno was saying before he trailed off.
"What happened Xeno?" Soren asked with his curiosity showing interest.
Xeno remained silent for a few more moments before he said,"Damian had killed his worm and not a single scratch was on him..He was wielding the Angel's Blade and was wearing the Heavenly Armor..He fell unconscious again before I could say anything to him,"
Soren was about to speak again before Melody came bounding down the stairs with an astral staff in hand and many potions hanging from her waist,"Ready! Sorry I took so long, I couldn't find this damn thing if my life depended on it!" referring to the staff in her hand.
"It's fine, let's get going before it starts to get dark. We only have about two hours before we're left with shadows.." Soren said as he looked outside the window towards the sun.
Melody nodded her head as the guys started to head out and Xeno looked back over to Damian to see him zoning out,"Hey D! We're going, come on!"
Damian snapped out of his thoughts as he said,"Oh! Right, sorry!" as he ran out the door after everyone else.
Xeno closed the door behind them and placed his hands on the back of his head, as he followed casually after the others. They walked through a forest for a good while before coming to a clearing in the center of some trees. Melody laid a blanket down and pulled something out that appeared to be a brewing stand as she set up a small brewing area. Xeno sat on the grass next to her as Soren and Damian tried to awaken the knight within Damian.
"Okay, first things first D, try to summon the knight. Imagine yourself as the knight. Try to call upon the power of the Angel's Blade and try to summon the Heavenly Knight as a whole. If that doesn't work, then think of what you want to protect. What do you want to protect? Who or what will you give your life to in order to protect them?" Soren asked as he looked at Damian before walking over to Xeno and Melody.
'What do I want to protect?' Damian thought as he sat down in the grass away from the others and closed his eyes as he tried to concentrate on that thought and everything else Soren had told him.
Soren and Xeno watched Damian as they sat there and Melody brewed potions and such galore. They sat like this for two hours before the sun began to set and had begun to plunge the field into darkness. Melody had begun to put her things away as Xeno pulled his sword out of the sheath and Soren summoned a small flame to his hands. It had become nighttime as shadows flew across the sky and Soren could feel that something was going to happen soon, and that it wouldn't be good.
