A Rick Grimes Love Story

Chapter 6

The little girl doesn't move but she opens her arms for someone to pick her up.

"Jessica!" You scream and run towards her.

"No wait!" Rick runs after you.

You feel your heart race at the sight of your sister. It feels like ages since you've seen her and all you want to do its hug her.

As you get closer an closer, you notice more of her features: her needle straight hair, her cute little button nose, and her infamous turquoise eyes.

When you are in arms reach of Jessica, Rick grabs your arm and pulls you back.

"No! Let go!" You scream.

Jessica starts to cry and pout at the sight. Rick whispers in your ear to check her and then go inside. He lets you go and you get down on your knees.

Jessica's exactly your height, which makes everything better. She wraps her small arms around your shoulders and sniffles.

You can feel the tears forming in your eyes, "Hii baby girl. I've missed you."

She doesn't say anything, which concerns you just a little. But the fact that she's in your arms again makes the whole world.

"Let me look at you." You pry her arms off you.

You wipe the tears away and look at her body for any bite or scratches. She looks back at the forest multiple times as if something's going to pop out.

"Nothing's going to get you. I'm here Jessie." You stand up and pull her in for a hug.

She puts her arms up and you pick her up. Jessica point to Carl who's standing by Rick. They look a little distressed and upset at the sight of Jessica.

You smile over to Jessie and start walking back to the house, "Lets meet some new people."
