SLEEP IS SOMETHINGthat is cherished by many. The one thing which helps people distance themselves from their problems even for a few hours. Samantha Stark was one of those people. One of those who cherish their sleep so deeply that will respect others too.

However, some people did not know that. To more specific, the young adult standing behind Samantha's door knocking endlessly. The young brunette inside the room was still charging the energy she had wasted the previous day when she went out with a group of heroic mutants to save the rest of human kind from the usual villains.

The young adult from the other side of the door knocked the door harder, and louder. When he heard the yell coming from inside he knew he had accomplished his mission. "Sam! Open the door! Is time to wake up!" Bobby Drake said from the other side of the door.

Samantha Stark opened her eyes with difficulty. "God, sleep. That is all I ask." The woman mumbled to herself.

"Sam! Professor X put you in charge of training today! We are waiting!" Bobby yelled.

Sam sighed, getting up from bed. With one eye still closed and her tangled hair still stuck to different angles, the woman opened the door to her mutant friend. "What do you want Bobby?" Sam asked him.

"Training starts in an hour." Bobby told her, pointing at his watch. "You got to eat and get yourself some coffee before training starts. You are leading the team and some young students today." Bobby told her, patting her shoulder.

The woman sighed, shaking her head. "Alright, give me ten minutes." Sam told him before closing the door again. "The things I do for family." She mumbled to herself, before walking to the bathroom. "I am nice and go to help out, but no, no sleep. Go and join the X-Men they say. Great. Go and save the world, they say. I do. But at what cost, no sleep?" Sam mumbled to herself as she started to get ready.

The woman walked down the impeccable halls of Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. Her boots clicked against the wooden floor as she walked, signaling her precense to the other students. She was of course recognized by many of them, and not because of her constants visits to the school; but because of her father.

At a young age the woman had been put on the spotlight by the media due to her name. Stark. The daughter of the billionaire playboy, Anthony 'Tony' Stark. The one person who many thoughts would not marry; but he eventually did with no other than Pepper Potts. Samantha Stark was a product of their love, something she held onto so dearly. Especially with the scandals that constantly surrounded her father; but she worked through them just like she did every single day before he became Iron Man.

However, there one thing that Tony Stark always tried to do; but his daughter away from the spotlight. There were two reasons. One being that he wanted for her to have her own live, to not be chased down or pressured by the media. The second, possibly the most important one, was that he did not want others to know about her gifts. The gifts she was born with.

Just like thousands of others, she was a mutant. One of the lucky one – who some people might called cursed – who were given powers. Powers which if not taught how to use properly, would cause complete chaos. Hers was not as deadly as others, but it was strong. At the mere age of 1 Pepper Potts had witnessed it herself. While looking after her daughter pink butterflies started to appear around the child as she played with her toys. Or the best one yet, which was when Tony tried to put her daughter to sleep and saw his daughter grew pink transparent wings and levitated up in the air. It was pretty clear: she was a mutant.

So when she hit the age of four, a man in a metal wheelchair arrived at the Stark's home telling them that their daughter had a gift, a powerful one. Tony Stark was very hesitant of leaving his little princess – his entire world – at the hands of some weird man in a wheelchair and another whose bright blue fur covered him entirely. Pepper on the other hand was tired of trying to reach her daughter who when got mad would hide at the top of the ceiling, in some cases even the roof. Tony being Tony got into a car with his daughter and went to the school himself.
