Chapter 6: Taken

If the reason was envy that would just be stupid why it would be envy no one wanted me then why would they want me now. I crossed my arms either in anger or sadness I couldn't tell which one for I was feeling both.
"Lisa?" I heard Emilio say as he woke up.
"Yeah." I answered back, I knew he was check to see if I was awake.
I could see him smile as if he was relieved that I was okay, all I could do is smile back. He had a sad look in his eye I could tell he was worried about me which made me feel bad cause he was a vampire and I was a human, there is so many humans in this world and so little vampires.
"You okay?" he asked. I knew he could see my saddened look just thinking of me being so helpless and weak. I want to become stronger not just for him, but for me so that no one will have to worry about me. I stared at the hospital wall and then when I felt I was about to cry I pulled my knees to my cheat and rested my head on them I knew Emilio was looking at me I was trying so hard not to cry because that would be the weak thing to do.
All of a sudden I felt a tear run down my face, but at the moment that's all I could do I felt like if there was a knot in my stomach because of me trying to hold the tears back. My mother always told me it was okay to cry, to let out sadness and it helps to get rid of stress it's like talking without even having to use your voice to get someone to listen when they won't listen.
"Lisa?" Emilio asked as he sat next to me on the bed, he lifted my head and tears just rolled down my face all I could do is cry and to show my weak heart couldn't take any more. Emilio moved closer and put his arms around me making me want to come out of my saddened ball. I reached my arms around him and all I could do was weep to let out all my feelings before they took hold of me and bring me down. Emilio didn't say a word all he did was hold me and let me know everything will be okay.
"Get some rest Lisa, everything will be okay." Emilio said as he moved my face to look at his and whipped the tears from my eyes. "Everything will be okay." He repeated and kissed my forehead. "Can I ask you to do something for me?" I asked him as I was getting settled. "Anything." He answered. I looked at him and bit my bottom lip and then took a deep breathe in. "Will you make me a vampire? So I may become stronger." I said out with hope and for Vladimir wasn't going to do it, so I was going to find a Vampire that would. Emilio looked at me with sadness. "Let's talk about it after you get some rest." He answered with a voice that seemed disappointed with me. "Okay..." I answered. I rolled over and pulled the covers up to my neck I really want....well I really need to become a vampire, or else I'll have to rely on everyone to protect me which I do not wish to do. I closed my eyes tight think of how mad I am at myself for being so weak.
When I woke up it was already night. Sitting up in my bed and rubbing my eyes. I looked around, then put my feet over the edge of the bed, in attempt to get up. Once I felt awake enough to go look around the house I got up and walked to the door of my room. As I was about to open the door I could hear Emilio and Vladimir talking, I cracked the door to see if I could see them and also so that I may hear them better. "I'm going to make Lisa a vampire." Vladimir said with a serious look on his face. "No...you're not giving her the curse brother." Emilio said with great sorrow. What? I thought, Emilio and Vladimir are...brothers?!... I slowly shut the door and looked at my window, I got to get out of here was the first thing that came to my mind. I went to my dresser and got some clothes to change into and quickly changed. I opened up the window and looked out then down thinking I hope I don't fall as I put one foot out of the window and onto the roof of the house, I was so happy that I had a roof under my window, I guess for fire purposes. I managed to get both feet onto the roof, I looked back at the door to make sure no one was coming before I got out the rest of the way. I looked at my feet and slid down and now I was sitting under my window as I was doing so I shut the window and stared for the garden fence that went up the side of the house. Once I managed to reach it I stared to climb down, in fear of the fence breaking. Once I made it to the bottom I looked up and made sure no one was coming after me then I started to run away from the house. Where was I going? Where was I going to go? I didn't know either of these questions all I know was I had to get away from this house and away from all the vampires, if I did not have meet Vladimir, no if I would not have meet any vampires I would not have had to become stronger, and....my mom would not have died. It is all their fault, why did we have to move here. I never see my dad anymore because he is always working. As my mind came back to reality I seen that I ran all the way to the park, and sorrow came over me faster than the speed of light. This is where it happened, this is where my life changed forever, and this was where I was...when my mother died trying to come get me. I could feel the tears going down my face I couldn't be strong anymore, my mother the mother that was God to me when I was young the one who brought me to this world and the one who took her from this world. I crossed my arm each hand gripping the other arm like I was hanging from a cliff just wait to fall to my death, no one to catch me if I fell.
"Where are you off to all alone my dear?" said a woman's voice. I looked up from the ground I know I had a look of horror on my face because I was scared, scared out of my mind because if it was the woman I thought it was....I was doomed.... "Alexandra?" I asked hoping it would be a no. "Oh, I'm so flattered you remembered my name, of course you would because another woman that your love talks to your mind can not forget." She said with a smirk on her face. I slowly turned around to look at her, she was so beautiful, compared to me I looked like just another barn animal. This time she wore a short Lolita Gothic black dress with long sleeves it looked like a Victorian dress but it came up to her knees, the dress had a medium sized bow on the side about at her hip, and she was wearing high heels were the strap went around her ankles with black stocking that when she walked you could see a little of her guarders. I looked at Alexandra with fear because I knew she was like the head vampire or something. She walked closer to me. "Don't be afraid at the moment I just want to talk for now." She said with a smile. "What do you want to talk to me about?" I asked with a scared look on my face. "I want to know why you're interfering with the vampire world, But the main reason I hear you wish to join the vampire world or as the humans call it the night world." She asked with such an anger in her voice. "I did not choose to know about vampires and I wish to become one is so that I may become stronger and able to care for me and to care for the ones I love." I answered with the most serious look on my face. Alexandra looked at me with such anger on her face, what was she thinking? Or what did I say to get her so angry? "Hmm, is that so? Or do you wish to become a vampire so that Emilio and Vladimir will love you even more? She said as she crossed her arms and closed her eyes. I looked at her with thought, is she right do I really want to become a vampire to get closed to Emilio and Vladimir? No I don't care about them they lied to me, they didn't tell me they were brothers. "No...that's not it, not at all!" I yelled as I looked at her with such a serious look. Looking at her I could see that Emilio and Vladimir were coming up. "I have to go..." I told Alexandra. Then turned and ran. I couldn't face them, I just can't. I ran as fast as I could without looking back. I managed to make it to town I slowed my running to walking. Where am I going? What am I going to do now? I looked around at all the closed shops, all but one restaurant I only had 50 dollars to my name but that was enough to get something to eat and maybe clear my mind. The place was called The Red Eye, when I walked it everything was red and the walls were red also, all but one, one was gray with an eye that was outlined in black and the eye was red. There was maybe ten people in all in here, but all of them were couples. I walked in and sat at a table near the back of the restaurant and started looking at the menu. On the menu there was tons of food from burgers, to sea food and desert. "How are you, my name is Rose and I will be your server. What drink would you like to drink?" Said Rose the server. "I'd like a sweet tea and also would like to go ahead and order." I replied. "Okay, go ahead." Rose said back as she had her pen and note pad ready to write down what I said. "I'd like a cheese burger with some French fries." I said as I handed her the menu. "Okay, I will bring you your drink and then your food when it is ready." She said with a smile. "Thank you." I said as she walked away. I put my face in my hands. What do I do now? What do I do now? This all I could ask myself because I didn't know what to do now. Where was I going to go? Home...is out of the question. "Lisa?!" I heard a voice yell. I slowly looked up to see who was calling my name, wishing it was not who I thought it was. When I was looking up I seen Emilio walking toward me. "Lisa! Are you okay? I've been looking for you everywhere." Emilio said with worry. I looked at the table and did not say a word. All of a sudden Rose the sever came by my table to bring me my drink. "Oh, hello Emilio, would you like red wine?" Rose said as she winked at him when she said red wine. I looked at Emilio. "I didn't know you drink..." I said in wonder. "Ha-ha well.....it's not really wine...its blood..." Emilio said with some humor. "Oh..." I said with the feeling of feeling stupid. "Yeah, well this is a vampire restaurant that's why this place is called the read eye, and also why it's only open at night." Emilio said with a smile. After a bit Emilio's drink and my food was brought to us. "Thank you Rose." Emilio said with a smile. "So...Where is Vladimir, or aka your BROTHER?" I asked with a bit of anger. All Emilio could do was look at me with surprise on his face. "H-HOW DID YOU KNOW HE WAS MY B-BROTHER??" Emilio asked with such a steady deep tone. "Well...I overheard Vladimir call you brother so yeah..." I started eating on my food. As I was doing so I could hear Emilio let out a sigh. "Lisa?!" I heard another voice yell. Then all of a sudden Vladimir came running over to our table and also Rose came to the table to bring the check. "Oh hello Vladimir." Rose said with a smile then she winked at him. So far I really don't like this Rose girl. I picked up the check and walked right between Rose and Vladimir to the checkout place of the restaurant paid the 10.65 and walked out the door. I'm done with vampires I'm going to my house packing my thing and leaving this town. I started to run to get back home faster and so that I will be able to leave as soon as possible. I could hear Emilio and Vladimir calling after me as I ran, but I didn't care not at all. All I knew was I had to get home and pack then get out of this town of blood suckers.
All of a sudden, Vladimir appeared right in front of me like he used his vampire speed, I ran right into him knocking him over with me landing right on top of him. "Leave me alone." I said in an angry voice and as I was trying to get off of him he grabbed my wrist and pulled me back on top of him only this time he was holding me in his arms. "Why are you running Lisa? If you're afraid I will protect you, even if it cost my own life I will make sure you are safe...." Vladimir whispered in my ear. I paused before I answered him. Why would he think I'm afraid, I'm not afraid, I'm angary, because the both of them played with my emotions....Maybe I'm not angry, but hurt..."I'm not afraid, I'm angry..." I answered with tears coming to my eyes. In this moment I just wish that I could disappear or just wake up and this just be one big nightmare. "Why are you angry Lisa?" Vladimir asked with a voice that knew I was lying to him. I tried to get up again, but Vladimir had a death grip on me, he wasn't going to let me go, I'm trapped. "B-Because....I-I love you.....but I know I'm just a weak human and you have Alexandra or Rose....I'm just a weak worthless human..." I said out as I started to cry, I felt so worthless. A human and a vampire is like a lion and a bunny they just do not go together. I could feel my body go limp as it knew that I had just given up, I just wanted to die then and there. "Lisa?" Vladimir said with a bit of happiness to his voice. I looked up at him to say what, but my voice would not work, he looked at me with a smile and then kissed me. I could feel my heart speed up and my eye widen, I still could not understand what had happen.
Suddenly, I felt someone kick me in my side right off of Vladimir, once the pain went down a bit I looked over to see who it was. My eye went big once I see who had kicked me they had an angry look on their face, the face that was ready to kill. I think that now, my life may be taken.....
