Chapter 10: The Truth

Vladimir hugged me and held me in his arms his grip getting tighter as seconds going by. "V-Vladimir...I can't b-breath" I said because he was holding me so tight. What was wrong with him? Why was he acting like this? "....Sorry" Vladimir replied as he let his tight grip go a bit. I pushed him off me so that I could sit up. Vladimir moved away from me and set in elbows above his knees with his feet hanging off the bed and his hands holding his head up, looking at the floor with his head looking at the ground. I sat up and looked at him for a few moments then I hugged him and held him, I didn't know what else to do. I held him tight in my arms. "Get some rest Lisa..." Vladimir said with a calm but sad voice. I let go of him and sat there for a moment, then I pulled him on top of me and held him in my arm he seemed a bit surprised that I did. "Cheer up, please." I said as I gave him a smile. Vladimir extended his arms so that he could hold his body up to look at me. Looking at me a few moments, then I put my hands on each side of his face and looked into his eyes for a few moments then I pulled his face to mine and kissed him wrapping my arms around him and kept kissing him. I was in love with Vladimir he was my first friend when I moved here. I will admit I love Vladimir.
All of a sudden Alex walked in, he stood there for a few moments before speaking."...Sorry I'll come back when I'm not interrupting." Alex said with a sad voice as he looked at the floor. Vladimir got up and stood in front of Alex. "I should be able to kiss my bride to be." Vladimir said to Alex. What? Is all I could think. Future bride? What did he mean? Alex look at Vladimir. "Future bride?" Alex asked with a confused look. "Yeah, what do you mean future bride Vladimir?" I asked I wanted to know what he meant. Alex and I were both confused. "Vladimir? Why are you keeping me in the dark? Tell me what you're hiding!" I yelled at Vladimir, I wanted answers. I'm tired of being kept in the dark. I wanted to know, to know everything to fit the missing pieces together. I looked at Vladimir as he let out a sigh. "No, I can't Lisa it is too soon." Vladimir replied with a steady serous voice. I sat up in bed and I looked him for a moment then got out of bed and stood and looked at Vladimir with such anger. Why is he keeping secrets from me? Vladimir had a look like he didn't care. The anger grew within me that I moved my hand back and slapped Vladimir I got next to his ear. "Don't you ever, and I mean ever talk to me until you are ready to tell me the truth and all the secrets you're hiding." I whisper in his ear, then I walked out of the room but before I did I looked at Alex as he moved out of my way as I walked out. I walked out of the room and went to the right and kept walking fast as I could to the end of the hall past the stairs, until I reached the door at the end of the hall this was were all my clothes for dinners for like when my parents went to their bosses, I opened the door and all my dresses were still here I looked through them trying to find one I felt like wearing, all the dresses my parents got for me they didn't care that I like the gothic and punk styles long as the dresses look nice. I kept looking through the dresses till I found the right ones. I pulled out a corset dress which was purple and black, with lace layers on the bottom with a purple fabric under each lace layer. I slipped my other close off so that I could put on the corset dress, after I put on the dress I looked in the dresser for some stockings to wear with dress, then I found my stockings that went with the dress I slipped them on and then open the top dresser to get my graders to keep my stocking up after I put them on I looked to the right so that I could find some shoes to wear then I saw my favorite punk boots which were black and thick, I slipped them on and then put on my black jacket that seemed like a mini dress that puffed out at the bottom. I open the door and walked out with Alex and Vladimir both standing there, they both look worried. "Where are you going?" Vladimir asked with a bit of an angary tone. I looked at him with an angry look I wasn't going to talk to him, not until he told me what he was hiding from me. I walked passed both of them and was walking to the stairs so that I could get to the front door to leave. "Lisa? Answer me. Where are you going?" Vladimir asked as I kept walking acting like he wasn't there. Once I got to the door I began to open it but it opened before I could open it, it was Emilio. "Where are you going Lisa?" Emilio asked with smile. "Emilio, brother. Stop her!" Vladimir yelled. I glanced back at him with an evil look, which somehow threw him back. "See what I mean? I just want the truth. What is wrong with me?" I said with anger. Emilio looked surprised at what I did and what I said, he looked at the ground. Vladimir and Alex were both looking at the ground, they wasn't going to tell me. Looking at all three of them for a moment, all three still staring at the ground. I sighed and then started to walk out the door Emilio just stepped aside and let me leave, as I walked passed him, I glanced at him, but just kept walking. I was going to the Red Eye, because it was a place for vampires, I thought I could get some answers somewhere.
After a while of walking, I finally made it to the Red Eye. Standing at the door all I could do was hope, hope I could get the answers I was looking for. After a few moments I started to walk in the place was the same with the same people or same vampires. Once I walked in I seen that everyone was looking at me not like I was a freak or anything, but with surprise that I was there. As I walked their eyes followed me, I sat down at the table I did last time.
All of a sudden Rose came to the table. "Lisa?" What are you doing here? You should be at home." Rose said with a worried voice. I looked at her and asked, "Why should I be home? I came here to ask some questions, in other words to get the truth." Rose just looked at me with shock. "Lisa, you have to go home now, you're not safe here." Rose said as she looked into my eyes with a serious look. I looked back at her with an evil look really close to her face. "I'm not going anywhere till I get the truth." I said with anger in my voice I wanted people to quit keeping secrets from me. Rose looked at me the like she wasn't going to tell me anything, no one was I was going to be in the dark forever it seemed like. I looked at Rose as I got up to walk out. Leaving the place I noticed someone was following it was a male, may be a vampire. After I got outside I turned around and looked at him. "Why are you following me?" I asked as he walked around me with my eyes following his every movement.
"You wanted answers, did you not?" The strange male said.
"I did, do you have them?" I asked him.
"I do....But for a price." The male said with a smile.
"And what price is that..." I asked with a voice that was willing to pay anything, he smiled with my answer.
"The price is you." He replied. As he cracked a smile.
"Me?" I asked with confusion.
"Because I'm a demon, I would take your soul, but you don't have one." The man said with a smile. So he was a demon I didn't know demons were real.
"What do you mean I don't have a soul?" I asked I didn't know what he meant, it was like a puzzle with this guy.
"Hehe, you are being kept in the dark. Are you not?" He said with a smile.
"Tell me what people are hiding from me....Please" I said very desperate. He walked up behind me and hugged me from behind and held me like trying to keep me safe.
"What I mean is that I want you is that I want you to be mine." The demon whispered in my ear.
"Why me..." I asked with wonder.
"Because I've been watching from a far ever since you were just a baby, you were born in the 1700's. You saw the visions from the tree right?" The demon said and asked to conform that I saw the visions from the tree.
"Yeah..." I answered.
"Good, the baby you seen, it was you." The demon explained.
"Me? Then that explains when it was bitten I felt the bite marks."
"Yes you, your mother and father were vampires they gave birth to a baby girl, you. This was the first vampire ever born through birth, this is why vampires feared the child and tried to kill the child. The two vampires were there to kill you, but I was in the room hidden so they left in a hurry. After that your mother and father walked in holding you close for they were stuck fighting off the other vampires, but two of them got by. After this happened they knew that you wouldn't have a normal vampire life with vampires coming to kill you. So in that case they did a rare thing that only the old vampires can do...Take away their vampire blood and become humans, they only become a vampire again if they drink the blood of a vampire. Emilio and Vladimir didn't want you to become a vampire because you would regain some memory, because a vampire can remember everything, and for you, you would remember the memories that you stored as a vampire child. Also you are to become the new head vampire, because you are the only one of your kind. Once you are a vampire you will have more power than any other vampire." The demon explained. He told me the truth, the only one who told me anything.
"The reason people are telling you to go home is because you are in danger the older vampires know some of your power is leaking through, your parents spell is starting to wear off." The demon explained. He let go of me and walked in front of me, the demon was beautiful, he had hair that went to his shoulders it seemed to curl a bit a the ends of his black hair, he was wearing a black trench coat that went to his knees his pants seemed like a black leather. Also on his face seemed to be a tattoo, a line that went to the corner of his eye near his nose. His eyes seemed so gentle considering they were red, he seemed to look at me with a sad but happy look.
Standing there a few moments he finally spoke. "Lisa, please we have to get you home." He said with a smile. "Okay, but first you never told me your name." I said with a smile. "My name, oh right how rude of me. My name is Paymon." He said with a smile, I looked at him then he slowly walked to me and wrapped me around and held me close to him, he rested his chin on top of my head. "I'll protect you with my life if it comes down to it." Paymon explained. For a demon he was warm. I could fall asleep in his arms I just meet him, but I felt like I've known him for years. "I should get you home." Paymon said as he moved away and picked me up, in him arms like parents do when they carry their child to their bed. As he was he held me for a moment everything went black then next thing I know we were both at the front door of my house, like he teleported there. Paymon set me on my feet by his side and open the door and held it for me. As I walked in Vladimir, Emilio and Alex were all standing waiting for me. "Lisa, where have you been?" Vladimir asked with worry as he came up to me and kissed me. I looked at him with surprise. Then after a moment Paymon stepped in front of me, and Vladimir jumped back and gave an evil glare. "Paymon, no time no see. What brings you here?" Vladimir asked with a smirk. "I'm here for Lisa, to protect her." Paymon answered with a serous voice. "Protect her? That's funny, because that's my job." Vladimir said as he crossed his arms with anger. "Yeah, says the one who kept the truth from her, about who she is or more like what she is." Paymon said as if he was better for me. "Shut-up, she doesn't need to hear these lies." Vladimir said as he was getting more angary with Paymon. "Vladimir....I already know Paymon told me. I'm a natural birth vampire, so please stop lying to me Vlad." I said with stress in my voice. Vladimir looked at with me with such surprise because I knew the truth and I shortened his name. I walked passed all of them holding Paymon's hand making him follow as I was headed to my room. Once I got there Paymon follow then I shut the door. "I see the room you chose was your old room, hehe that quite funny." Paymon said with a smile. I looked at him as I took off my jacket, when Paymon seen I was looking at him he gave me a gentle saddened smile. I walked over to the bed and sat down on the bed and laid my jacket beside me and laid down on my back and put my arm over my eyes. It has been a long week everything didn't make sense. "What's wrong Lisa?" Paymon asked me with worry. As I sat up I looked at the ground for a moment. After thinking a bit I wanted to be back into my true form a vampire. "Yes...When can I be a vampire again?" I asked with a serous voice. Paymon looked at me with surprise, then smiled. "Right now, if you wish." Paymon said with a smile. I looked at here with a smile. "Yes, as soon as I can." I said with a smile. "Wait here." Paymon said with a gentle smile. Paymon walked out of the room and shut the door behind him, I walked to the door and cracked it, to hear what is going on.
"Vladimir we need to talk." Paymon said as he was walking down the stairs. I walked to the corner of the hall and peered down stairs to see what was going on.
"What do you want Paymon." Vladimir asked from the corner between the two stairs.
"Hehe, why so angry?" Paymon asked Vladimir, as he got to the bottom of the stairs, standing in front of Vladimir.
"You...Why did you tell Lisa. Why? She was fine not knowing the truth." Vladimir explained.
"I simply told her what she needed to know, more like what she deserves to know in other words." Paymon explained.
"No. Let me guess...She wants to be a vampire now?" Vladimir asked with a saddened voice.
"Yes....She right now if you're ready Vladimir..." Pay explained.
"Yeah, I was hoping it would be much later before I had to turn her." Vladimir explained as he started to the stairs, I seen him coming up the stairs with a sad look, just staring at the ground. Once he started to get closer, I started to head back to my room, I fast walked back to my room and closed my door behind me, then went and sat on my bed.
*Knock*Knock. It's open, I replied after I heard the knocking at the door. Vladimir opened the door and looked at me with sadness. "Are you sure this is what you want?" Vladimir asked with sorrow. "Yeah." I answered with a firm voice. Vladimir walked over to me brushed my hair behind my ear, then brushed his hand against my faces so gentle trying not to hurt me with his needle pointed nails. I stood up and hugged him, he held me closes then moved me back and bit his lip were some blood was running down his chin. "Are you sure?" He asked with a mono-tone. I nodded yes and he pulled me close, then started to kiss me, I could taste his blood going down my throat, I just kept drinking after each drink, the blood started to taste sweet. Vladimir pulled away and looked at me and then put his hands on my shoulders pushing down to make me sit on the bed then he sat beside me. "You may feel dizzy, and may have some flash backs of memories you forgot when you were turned human." Vladimir explained. I stared at the ground then the memories started coming back as when I was a baby, the evil vampires biting my neck trying to kill me, my parents holding me close choosing to give me a normal life.
Once the memories gone away I could feel a sharp pain in my chest like I was having a heart attack. "This is normal Lisa your human body is dying and your vampire body is awaking, it only last a few moments." Vladimir explained with sorrow in his voice. I laid on the bed gripping my chest, I could feel my K-9 teeth sharpen and my hair grow and become softer. Once the pain went away I sat up and looked at Vladimir. "....I'm hungry." I said with a smile, All Vladimir could do was smile back.
