Chapter 7: Unknown

"Why are you still interfering Lisa?! WHY?!" Alexandra yelled at me, as she was walking to me, I just knew she was going to kill me. Vladimir and Emilio ran in front of me in order to try and protect me, which did not make me feel any better because that was a sign that she was going to kill. "Move out of my way!" Alexandra said to Vladimir and Emilio. The two did not move or even act like they would. I could see the anger on Alexandra's face. I slowly started to try and get up, for my side still hurt like maybe she broke some of my rips, but that was the least of my worries. I managed to stand up on my feet, I looked at Vladimir and Emilio still standing there. "I will say it once more....MOVE....OUT....OF...THE...WAY." Alexandra said with a deep angry voice as she balled her hands into a fist. Vladimir and Emilio still would not move.
All of a sudden, Alexandra had her arms all the way crossed with both her hands out with her finger tips pointed up, I could see she was about to move them herself, I tried to get her stopped but the pain in my side made me move slow, before I could get to her she slung her arms out to where they were not crossed but they were out like she was about to fly and as she did so, Vladimir and Emilio both went flying to the ground and out of her way. "Lisa...I've tried to be nice as I could be to a weak human, but it seems you cannot take a hint so I am here to show you what I mean." Alexandra said as she crossed her arms giving me the death glare. I can't fight her a human VS a Vampire, the vampire 99.9% of the time wins in these battles. There was not but one choice....I had to fight. Alexandra started to run at me, I tried to move but I was even slower than a regular human would be to vampire speed, I still hurt from when she kicked me. This is the end, it has to be. She came at me and punched me in the face, then appeared behind me and before I could turn around she grabbed me so that I couldn't move and bit into the side of my neck. I stood there, for that's all I could do, I couldn't run let along move I was trapped. Was she going to drain all my blood? Was she trying to scare me? I didn't know what she was doing, all I knew was I had to get away and fast. I tried to move my arms to get one free, so that I may have a chance to either get away or do a bit of damage. I finally managed to get one arm free and seen a stick that kind of looked like a wooden stake, I let my body go limp for maybe she would let me go thinking I passed out and it worked. Alexandra let me go and I hit the ground, it hurt but it was better than dying. "That will teach you, you worthless human." Alexandra said as she walked away. As fast as I could I grabbed the stick and rammed it through her, she feel back in my arms with a surprised look on her face. "I-I underestimated you..." Alexandra said as she turned to ashes in my arms.
"Lisa?!" I heard Vladimir and Emilio yelling as I did not move still with my arms up as if Alexandra was still in my arms, I was in shock, I killed someone, no I killed a vampire. Vladimir and Emilio ran over to me, Vladimir holding my face in his hands trying to get me to look at him. When I looked at him I could feel my body grow weak from the pain of my side and all the blood Alexandra drained from my body, I fell into Vladimir's arms and he held me, I could hear Emilio saying they needed to get me to the ER, and then I blacked out.
When I woke up I was in a hospital bed, Emilio and Vladimir was nowhere in the room, I tried to sit up in my bed when the nurse walked in the room. "Oh, honey please don't move you've lost a lot of blood and have three broken ribs, so it would be best if you just lay there and rest till you get more of your strength up." The nurse said with a smile, I looked at her with an okay fine, but I'm not happy look. The hospital was the last place I wanted to be. When I looked out the window the sun was out, it seemed like a wonderful day to be out to enjoy the weather, but I was stuck in this room for god know how long. Vladimir and Emilio was probable back home sleeping because the sun was out and maybe got a bit hurt from when Alexandra threw them. As I sat in the hospital bed time seemed to go by slow but it went by and before I knew it, it was night time and Vladimir and Emilio still have not come to see I hope they're okay. I have to know if they're okay. I looked at the IV in my arm, I have to get it out. I pulled the tape from the needle, and then started to pull the needle from my arm which hurt a bit but I had to make sure they were okay. I put my feet off the edge of the bed and slowly sat up. All I could think about was Vladimir and Emilio, I had to know if they were okay, I just had to know. Once I got upright I placed my feet on the ground beside the bed and as I was pushing myself to get up my side stared to hurt all it was, was sharp pains all through my side like being tickled for a long period of time and your sides start to cramp from laughing each movement the pain got worse. I managed to finally stand up on my feet and walked to the window to see if they may be on their way up but no one was in sight, all I seen was the street lamps that went around the circle that lead to the main entrance of the hospital and people dropping off people. I walked away from the window and to the door it seemed like it took forever because of the slow pace I went trying to walk. Once I made it to the door, I opened it enough to see who and all was out there. I saw the service desk, that no one was at, and one or two visitors leave and entering rooms, but thank god no nurses or doctors to stop me. I closed the door and went to my bed side and picked up the bag full of my clothes that they seemed to take off to put my hospital gown on me. I got dressed which also seemed to take forever, but once I did I went back to the door and cracked it once again to make sure it was clear to walk out, seeing that it was I open the door more and walked out then shut the door behind me. I had to walk like I was not hurt because they will know I was trying to leave I had to blend in with the visitors just like someone who is trying to survive a zombie attack try to blend in with zombies, so I ignored the pain that my side was causing and walked down the hall and to the stairs, I didn't want the chance for an employee to see me. When I made it to the stair way door I opened it and went down the stairs as fast as I could, once I made it to the first floor I was headed straight for the front door, but not too fast or they would know something was up. I walked a normal speed and walked out the front door and onto the sidewalk this made me feel like a ninja being able to leave a hospital. I walked around the circle and when I got to the straight part of the sidewalk I stared running I had to make it home. The hospital was located at the south part of town and my house at the north just a bit out of town, so it was a straight away pretty much from here, it took me about 45 minutes to reach my house, but I made it. Looking at the house I was happy to be home. I walked up to the front door and then heard Vladimir saying: "I'm going to go see her, I have to know if Lisa is okay..." "No, she needs her rest, she is fine she is the hospitals care." Emilio replied. I could hear Vladimir sigh. "Fine..." Vladimir said with an annoyed voice. I reached for the door knob and turned it and open the door, Vladimir and Emilio had a worried and surprised look on their faces. "L-Lisa?!" Both of them said in such shock. "What? Can't I even come in my own home?" I asked in a sarcastic way as I shut the door behind me. "The nurse said that they would be keeping you for three days." Emilio asked in confusion. "Well...." I replied as I looked down at the floor, because when I tell him I walked out he'd be mad. " I just left....I was worried about you two, when you never came to see me at night fall I thought something bad had happened....so I wanted to make sure you were okay." I continued with a kid like way of saying it, like a kid trashing a house and trying to tell their parent what had happened and it turn into something else than what really happen, but I told them the truth, I needed to know they were safe with helps me relax better. All I heard was Emilio and also Vladimir sigh. Now that I know their okay I could feel the pain in my side to come back, I grabbed my side hoping it would help, Emilio was saying something, but the pain made it were I could focus on anything but the pain in my side I had no choice my body made me kneel, still holding my side the pain still has not went way. "Lisa?!" Vladimir and Emilio yelled while coming to my aid. "You should have stayed at the hospital, you should worry about yourself, before you do others....Lisa." Emilio said as he picked me up. "I'm taking you back to the hospital..." Emilio said with worry. "N-No...Just take me to my room, so I can rest." I replied with pain in my voice. Emilio looked at me like to say okay, and went toward the stairs and up to my room, once we got in my room, he laid me flat on my back and the pressure on my side seemed to ease down. "Thanks Emilio, I think I just need to get off my feet so that I don't put pressure on my ribs." I said with a smile. Emilio looked at me with sadness as if he wished he could take my pain away. ".....Good...But you are not to move from this bed unless you have too, otherwise stay put." Emilio said with a serious voice and a serious voice. I nodded to say that I understand, I closed my eyes and drifted to sleep, I could sleep well knowing that Emilio and Vladimir were okay, but what the future holds.....Is UNKNOWN......
