Chapter 15: The Proposal

Kaden's POV

It's been a month since I asked Mason for advise about when to propose to Emma and today is September 5th and Mason is proposing to Aqua soon. I can't wait until the 7th that's my birthday then the 10th Austin is proposing to Acacia. Then on the 15th is Emma's birthday and my birthday present to her is the proposal.

I have the ring picked out and I've been hiding it from Emma so she didn't get suspicious and I hope she doesn't find it. We are all going to the beach and then Mason is proposing to Aqua. Then we are all going out to eat for dinner.

"Are we all ready?" Mason asks

"Yeah."

"Okay let's go."

We all went to the beach and when we got there the girls took off their bathing suit cover ups and laid down a towel and tanned. Emma asked me to put sunscreen on her back. I sat close to Emma to make sure no other guys try to flirt with my girl. When we were sitting there watching the tide I over heard Aqua talking to Emma.

"Emma I heard that Kaden has the best birthday present for you." Aqua told Emma

"Awesome but it will be easy to beat all the presents I got as a kid remember those gifts like the year mom took me to the dentist for my birthday present, that hurt, or the time mom gave me that tool set to work on the car." Emma replied to Aqua

"Yeah I remember your presents and I'm sorry you got all the crappie presents just because your the youngest."

"I'm sorry for listening to your conversation but you got crappie presents because you were the youngest?" I asked Emma

"Yeah it was awful." She replied

"Well I'm sorry and you are going to love this one not just because of your presents you got before."

"Your so sweet." She said that and turned onto her back to tan her front

"I love you baby." I told her

"I love you too." She said and I leaned down and kissed her

"Um Aqua come here." Mason said

She got up and went over to Mason "Yeah?"

Mason gets down on one knee "Aqua will you marry me?"

"YES!" Aqua exclaimed

They hugged and kissed and I just sat there feeling like an idiot because I haven't figured out how to propose I mean I know how to but I don't know when the best time would be.

I walked over to Mason and Aqua.

"Mason I need your help!"

"With what?" He asked

"Well I know that my birthday present to Emma is the proposal but I don't know when the best time during the day would be the best time to."

"Oh dude come on, okay so when she is opening her presents say that you want her to open yours last then when she is done opening her presents from us you propose."

"Do I just propose while she is sitting on the couch or what?"

"You take her hand bring her to the middle of the room and get down on one knee and propose."

"Mason you are a life saver I've been feeling like an idiot because I didn't know when to propose to her."

"It's okay Kaden you are so sweet to Emma." Aqua said

"I try I know how she didn't really have a good childhood so I care for her and love her and I want to spoil her."

"Awe that is so sweet." Aqua said and hugged me
