This week marks an important time of year for the aromantic community - Arospec Awareness Week allows such individuals to bring attention to their identities and to inform and educate others on this virtually unheard of orientation.
This year, arospec individuals are 'celebrating their aroness' on the week beginning February 19th - February 25th 2017. At aroacefaq {on tumblr}, each day has been assigned a certain activity or task to help raise awareness and understanding of aromanticism, which you can enjoy taking part in - as a way to feel validated - if you are aro. Even if you are romantic, I suggest taking a look at some of the tags to help your understanding of the orientation.
